This first draft proposal is based on Pastor's thoughts for the church environment/culture and prepared with the idea in mind that our church NEEDS to be a "Home away from home" for people.

The second draft will be prepared following focus group conversations with our church family.

The final proposal will be presented once conversations with all the appropriate teams involved.

Creating a space that is more homely with intimate conversations, midcentury refurbished furniture. Giving the look and feel of being at home.

Three options are presented: A Colour contrast, White only + Two twone option

03. AUDITORIUM

A visual on the auditorium space with two options: white + two tone options with a suggestion on updating light fixtures.

To keep cost down, suggestion to keep the columns as is. And adding battens on the wall.

04. STAGE

Option to build a wall and painting all white.

05. EXTERIOR

A few options to consider: all black exterior, white and white + wood.

palette Colour has the ability to transform a space, to set the mood for a room and influence its style and personality.

Whether you want to excite, inspire, welcome or soothe, the key is to choose a colour palette which embraces you when you walk through the door.It should make you happy, and to do that the colours need to be well balanced and inviting. To choose your perfect palette you need to have a basic knowledge of colour.

Color schemes in interior design are simply the organization and choices of colors placed throughout a space. These colors and their combinations can influence how a person experiences a room. The color scheme can create a mood, enhance a particular style, and bring cohesion to disparate things in a single area.

Balancing Your Palette Choose one color as the dominant to fill about 60% of the space. Most designers choose a neutral as their dominant hue.

Then, select a secondary and accent hue(s). A secondary color should fill about 30% of the room while accents take about 10%.

The 60-30-10 Rule It's a classic decor rule that helps create a color palette for a space. It states that 60% of the room should be a dominant color, 30% should be the secondary color or texture and the last 10% should be an accent.
