Trinity Development & Alumni (TDA) is the primary fundraising agency for The University of Dublin, Trinity College Dublin. It is charged with responsibility for, and exists solely to support, the fundraising (development) and alumni engagement activities of the University. www.tcd.ie/development, www.tcd.ie/alumni. This post is tenable immediately or as soon as possible thereafter. Role & Purpose To proactively support TDA in their day-to-day data requirements, including but not limited to all data capture, data requests, guidelines, training, and other data processing projects. Key Responsibilities Manage the integrity of the alumni database by coordinating the daily operational data requests of TDA teams; Coordinate the data team’s work load and provide progress reports on their activity; Perform data capture, data list generation, data clean-up and other projects as assigned by line manager; Develop documentation and guidelines, deliver training and provide appropriate support to TDA teams ensuring accurate, effective and consistent use of the database; Build and maintain effective working relationships within TDA to develop an understanding of ongoing operational data needs; Regularly review the service provided to TDA teams to ensure acceptable service levels and requirements are met, and identify improvements as appropriate; Work with TDA teams in delivery of the respective goals of Trinity College; Plan, record, measure and report on personal and team activity (monthly, quarterly, and annually); Undertake other duties as may be assigned from time to time by line manager. Required Experience & Skills Qualifications - Third-level qualification - Candidates should have a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role. Experience and Knowledge (Essential) - Demonstrated people management skills; - Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to foster good working relationships; - Advanced computer skills – MS Office packages (Excel, Access, Word); - Proven experience in providing service to internal/external stakeholders;
