World Children’s Day is UNICEF’s annual day of action for children, by children. The 20th of November marks the publishing and adoption of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, also known as the UNCRC
From climate change, to education and wellbeing, young people are raising their voices on the issues that matter to their generation and calling for adults to create a better future

At Nord Anglia, we are encouraging children to look at different trends that need their (and our) attention right now: how to responsibly use technology, including AI and social networks how our actions make a difference on the environment around us how the ways we treat others creates inclusive societies and communities
EARLY YEARS CHILDREN

Talk to your children about why their voice matters
Ask your child about the rights that are most important to them but remind them that they have access to all their rights

Use the Child Friendly version of the UNCRC to talk to your child about their rights
Have an open dialogue with your child about using their voice –Why it is important? What happens when they do not use their voice?

Coffee chat with student-leaders at the school to learn about what they are working on, what they are concerned about, and how parents can help.
