LEAPClubs & Enrichment FAQ

(Middle & Upper School 2025–26)

1. When do LEAP clubs run?

• Most clubs take place after school from 15:30–16:30 or 17:00

• Some exceptions may run until 17:00.

• A small number of clubs (e.g., certain music or academic clinics) run during lunch times

• Full details, including times, are available on the SchoolsBuddy system once it opens.

• Sports teams have already started.

2. How do I sign up?

• Sign-up takes place through SchoolsBuddy: https://tbswarsaw.schoolsbuddy.net/

• Please log in ahead of time to make sure your account is active.

• New families will receive a welcome email with SchoolsBuddy access details before registration opens.

3. Where can I find details about each club?

• All club descriptions are published on SchoolsBuddy once registration opens.

• If you would like clarification about a particular club before this, please contact us directly.

4. Are there still Development Sports Clubs?

• Yes, These have been renamed 2nd Squad. These are chosen like all other clubs and allocations will be sent out next week after registration has closed.

5. Individual Music Lessons

• Are available separately and NOT part of the LEAP programme. If you have any queries please contact Ms Turner Director of Performing Arts: joanne.turner@thebritishschool.pl

6. What if two clubs clash?

• SchoolsBuddy shows all timing information clearly so you can avoid clashes.

• Students may need to prioritise one activity per day.

7. Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award (for 14+ students)

We are proud to offer the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, a global programme that develops leadership, teamwork, and resilience.

Age: 14+

Levels & Costs (per year):

• Bronze: 650 PLN

• Silver: 450 PLN (only available to students who have completed Bronze; admission on an application basis)

Costs include:

• Registration with the International Award Organisation

• Basic equipment for activities and expeditions

Additional costs to be covered by students:

• Personal kit such as a rucksack, sleeping bag, and appropriate clothing. We do have some equipment but it is given on a first come first serve basis during the expedition days.

• Food during expeditions

Further details will be provided to students once they sign up.

8. When will I receive full information?

• All information will be live on SchoolsBuddy on Saturday 6th September morning when sign-up opens.

10. When do Team Sports start?

• Team Sports have already started this term.

• Parents should have received an email from Mrs Vinent with full details of days and timings.

• These activities will automatically appear on a student’s SchoolsBuddy account.

• There is no need to apply for Team Sports through the sign-up system.

11. How will I know if I’m cast in the Musical?

• Casting decisions will appear directly in SchoolsBuddy under a student’s account.

• The exact roles will be shared by the Performing Arts Department during the week starting 8 September.

12. Year 10 Polish History / Geography

• Any Year 10 students signed up for Polish History / Geography must also sign up for the Homework Club on Mondays, which takes place directly before this session.

• Students cannot remain in school unsupervised during this time.

• If students are not signed up for Homework Club, they must go home.

• Registration will be taken to ensure all students are accounted for.

13. After School Buses

• Monster Buses operate independently of the school.

• They do not adjust their timings to match LEAP activities.

• Parents should plan transport arrangements accordingly if students are participating in after-school clubs.
