Dalit children face discrimination in almost every part of their lives, from access to education and medical care, to where they can live and what jobs they can have when they grow up. The colourful Learning Centres we support are a vital part of tackling this injustice.
The Body Shop began with the belief that business can be a powerful force for good. Supporting Children on the Edge is one way we bring this to life, helping some of the most marginalised children around the world who are living on the edges of society.

Children on the Edge was sparked into life in 1990 by our very own Dame Anita Roddick. The Body Shop At Home™ has continued to support their work since 1995, raising more than £2 million and changing thousands of young lives around the world.
