Support is urged for owner’s bid to expand Grove Business Park
Plan ‘would boost the local economy’ THE redevelopment and rebranding of Grove’s business park would help boost the local economy and ‘make Grove great’, according to its new general manager. Peter Mols was speaking after Grove Business Park, formerly known as Grove Technology Park, applied for permission to Vale of White District Council last month to expand its premises in a bid to attract new businesses to the area.
By George Welch The park’s owner, Grove Business Park Limited, wants to demolish seven buildings to make way for eight new ones and a 75-space car park. Most of the proposed buildings would be offices to help expand the business park. The site currently accommodates a mixture of office and warehouse buildings, providing about19,000 sq m of floorspace
