EXPLOSIONS TO BLOW DOWN MAIN BUILDING

Town councillor Des Healy worked at the site for 27 years from 1972 to 1999. He said: “Like all the former employees, I fi nd it heart-breaking to see the station be demolished, but we all know it would happen once the decision was made to close it. “It’s one of the fi rst things you see in parts of South Oxfordshire, and the fi rst thing you see when approaching in Didcot is that big
