becoming more and more of an issue.� Mr Willis joined fellow Oxfordshire headteachers and all six MPs including Prime Minister and Witney MP David Cameron in London last Wednesday at the Prime Minister’s parliamentary office in the House of Commons. They lobbied for school funding inequalities to be brought to the attention of Mr Cameron, who chaired the meeting. Mr Willis added: “I think the Prime Minister respected how urgent it is but realised that in order for him to increase spending to our area, he has to take money away from other schools, and in the current climate of

Wallingford School faces subject and staffing cuts WALLINGFORD School’s headteacher has revealed he could be forced to drop subjects and cut staff in the face of a lack of government funding.
