Learning about our Competitors
To design, make and sell products with intrinsic worth that comes from the original designs, knowledge, care and skill with which these are made.
We’re a company that believes in culture as much as commerce, and that journeys are usually as worthy as destinations. These are the stories we’re telling through our product and through a community.
At Good Earth, each design has a story and every story takes you on a journey. Every year, we travel across Asia to bring back the stories and myths of rich cultures that once lay along the Silk Route.

Learning about our Minimilistic colour Pallete
Minimalist color schemes often start with a neutral foundation, but they're not limited to shades of white. Neutrals including gray, taupe, black, and wood tones are commonly used in minimalist designs. With the right application, hues including blush pink, green, and blue can serve as muted accent colors
After Brainstorming over the gathered information and personal experience We came to the conclusion to bring Pink Planks a WATER Collection due to Various reasons:
1. We experience water with all of our senses
2. Water triggers our parasympathetic nervous system
3. The colour blue is therapeutic
4. The ocean creates soothing “pink noise”
5. We have an innate connection with natural environments.
6. Immersion in water balances our hormones
7. Breaking waves release negative ions
“Water takes you away from distractions and simpli es the visual landscape”

REFLECTION
At start we all had di erent ways of looking at the brand which initially created problems but later proved to be helpful as we understood each other's strengths and were able to learn together and create a collection for the client from scratch.
In this Taskbox we learnt how to understand a brand’s essence to create a new collection, We learnt the importance of ergonomics in furniture and the importance of understanding the properties of the materials from which the furniture is going to be made
