4yo, Br, Geld, Stowaway (GB) – Dame O’Neill (IRE) (Dr Massini (IRE)) Umbrigado made a very promising debut at Ballyarthur when finishing second to Brewers Project in a competitive four-year-old maiden. The Aidan Fitzgerald-trained runner disputed the running for much of the race before being headed at the penultimate fence where battled gamely on the run-in to finish just five lengths behind the potentially high class winner. The son of Stowaway is a half-brother to the Listed placed Templeross as well as being from the family of the Grade one winner Clopf. Umbrigado is a very exciting youngster that is bred to develop into a smart sort on the track and could have a lot to offer to new connections.
