5yo, gr, Mare, Flemensfirth (USA) – Moskovo (IRE)(Montjeau (IRE)) Moskovite ran out the convincing winner of the Mares bumper at Thurles on 22 February for trainer Denis Hogan and looks a high class Mare in the making. The 5yo daughter of Flemensfirth who is the second produce of the dual Grade 2 winner MOSKOVA travelled powerfully throughout the race and improved to take up the running turning into the straight and quickened away to score in impressive fashion staying on all the way to the line. She had previously made the perfect start to her career when scoring on her debut run in the 5yo Mares Maiden point-to-point at Killeagh in January but was subsequently disqualified. That day she made smooth progress from off the pace to pick up the running before the second last. She then stayed on to win in nice fashion going away at the line.
