For more than 30 years, this highly anticipated annual event hosted by the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce has showcased culinary creations and cooking demonstrations from the area’s finest establishments accompanied by a carefully selected menu of fine wines, craft cocktails and beers. Named “South Carolina’s Hottest UpAnd-Coming Food and Drink Destination” by Forbes magazine, Hilton Head Island and Bluffton are home to more than 300 hundred restaurants and dining establishments. From fresh seafood and Southern specialties to delicious appetizers and indulgent desserts, Taste of the Season is a chance to meet the award-winning chefs behind the signature 26

dishes and new recipes while indulging a taste for the holidays with hundreds of your closest friends, business associates and neighbors. While food is the focus, attendees are also able to browse great gifts offered in the silent auction, including spectacular getaways, works of art, golf packages and more. Bidding heats up as appetites wind

down, allowing tasters to indulge in great holiday gifts and raffle prizes. The date and location of this year’s Taste of the Season had not been confirmed at press time, but the event is always a sellout and past years have included a VIP ticket option with early event access and open bar, exclusive food samplings in the VIP lounge and complimentary valet parking. Proceeds from Taste of the Season benefit the Chamber’s communityfocused programs, such as the Jr. and Sr. Leadership classes and Small Business Workshops.
