For our national and international Leaders Club members we have put together a fantastic program, in which all the ingredients for a spectacular two-day event are present: a beautiful city, a very interesting Food Service Exchange with amazing “keynote� speakers and an exclusive evening in a stunning location around the best International Leaders Club concepts.

On Friday, October 4th we are also organizing an inspiring trend tour in Antwerp for our international guests, which will show that culinary tradition can go hand in hand with innovative concepts. Quality and originality guaranteed!

Thursday October 3rd 2013 Food Service Exchange - 12AM – 5PM Auditorium - Elzenveld For a number of years now, Food Service Exchange has been the exchange platform for Leaders Club members.

Through inspiring discussions and keynote speeches, the sense of entrepreneurship and cooperation are strengthened.

We start Thursday at 12:00 for an educational afternoon with top keynote speakers. They will take us along into their world of trends, changing food culture and the art of modern, strategic, digital communications...

The speakers: Hans Steenbergen Food Trend Watcher of the Year Food Inspiration Magazine Hans Steenbergen studied Dutch literature at the University of Amsterdam, after which he became engrossed in the journalist trade.

He is best known in the Hospitality & Foodservice industry for his position as editor at Reed Business where he was responsible for various magazines. In 2008 he joined ‘Shoot my Food’ and is mainly occupied with developing and managing the revolutionary digital magazine Food Inspiration. He is also a gifted speaker, epicurean, guitarist and he has a vast knowledge of the Hospitality & Food Service Industry.

He will immerse us into his world of food and beverage trends. Prepare for a journey into the future...

Frank Fol The Vegetable Chef – Culinary Architect For over 20 years, Frank Fol, the vegetable chef, has been active around fruits and vegetables.

As a culinary trendsetter he knows exactly how to tastefully convince in a healthy lifestyle. For 16 years he was a master chef in his restaurant Sire Pynnock in Leuven (one Michelin star). He is the creative brain behind the SMAAKBOM® - a healthy snack, EXKI- the fast service restaurant chain and LEGUMAISE® - the healthy vegetable sauce. His support as culinary supervisor of the Belgian Olympic Team in China and London, the astronauts and cosmonauts and the Arctic travellers Dixie Dansercour en Sam Delfour he himself calls his high points. His latest initiative in collaboration with Gault Millau Benelux, “The Green Gault Millau - Benelux” has just been launched.

In The Carrot Story Frank Fol will take us into his unique world of fruits and vegetables.

Professor Jamie Anderson The Stand-up Strategist Professor Jamie Anderson teaches Strategic Management at the Antwerp Management School and the Lorange Institute of Business in Zurich. He is also a visiting professor at the London Business School. Recently he was called the “management guru” by the Financial Times. Jamie is part of the top 25 list of the world’s management thinkers compiled by the Business Strategy Review Journal. Jamie’s research and teaching is built around the connections that exist between leadership, strategy and change. He has advised a lot of companies in the “Fortune 500” list in the field of business renewal. His ideas are regularly published in magazines such as Business Week, The Economist, Wall Street Journal and the Financial Times. Jamie is an awardwinning writer and his latest book is entitled “The Fine Art of Success”. In his keynote speech he will take us along into the era of Digital Gaga. What are the facts and myths around digital marketing innovations in the 21st century?

All nominated concepts will put their best foot forward to win the Leaders Club International Golden Palm for their country.
