TASIS DORADO IS A WELCOMING AND SUPPORTIVE SCHOOL WITH A CULTURE OF CARE ACROSS ITS WHOLE COMMUNITY.

Strategic Priority

Prioritize building strong relationships and encouraging active participation among our constituents, assembling a supportive network that encourages all individuals to contribute their unique perspectives, modeling empathy and understanding towards diverse cultures, perspectives, and global issues in order to affect positive social change in our community, on the island, and abroad.

SHORT-TERM GOALS

• Enhance our collaboration with the TASIS Foundation European schools in order to drive excellence while celebrating each institution’s distinctive culture and programs.

• Explore creative ways to increase parent and guardian participation in the TASIS Parent Association (TPA) meetings and events with healthy representation of local and new families.

• Broaden our Wellness Program to include activities and workshops for all community members including faculty, staff, parents, and alumni.

MID-TERM GOALS

• Create a parent education program that is a required part of the admission process on how to navigate independent schools and develop constructive relationships with faculty and staff as a way to orient new families into the culture of TASIS and connect meaningfully with others.

• Create a committee within the TPA whose purpose is to plan and execute an annual parent education event featuring high-interest speakers on pertinent educational topics.

• Create a formal exchange program for teachers and staff with other TASIS school personnel to enhance teacher development.

LONG-TERM GOALS

• Create an exchange program for students with other TASIS schools to capitalize on the unique student learning opportunities at each TASIS location.

• Develop a robust Alumni Program so that TASIS Dorado alumni can engage more meaningfully in the life of the school through enhanced social and educational events via reunions, professional networking, fundraising opportunities, and by serving as guest speakers and individual mentors.

• Begin an Alumni-focused marketing campaign, featuring outstanding alumni to drive brand awareness, enhance word of mouth, and higher value perception to current and future families.
