Dima Shevelev demonstrates the kindergarten writing process: First, he brainstorms ideas about a topic. Then he organizes the ideas by writing numbers next to them to show the order in which he will write the story. Next, he writes the rough draft of the story with best-guess spelling. Dima then gets his story ready to be typed and printed. Lastly, he reads his story to a captive audience! The kindergarteners can do arithmetic!
