CTST is currently delivering groceries and pharmacy however has capacity to deliver meals and other essential items. CTST has informal partner organisations, but no specific nor formal partnerships arrangement in-place for the COVID period. It is likely more formal partnerships will evolve in-line with community issues and risks. CTST has a ‘network partnership’ as a member of the HACC & CHSP Provider Network. Can be contacted by other services needing deliveries/transport.

Health Promotion

Recently launched the We Eat Local App which provides Tasmanians with a central place to find: retailers and producers who are offering a range of options to buy food to cook at home click and collect, home delivery and in store – to support social distancing during COVID19. Also produce a range of resources which make it easier for Tasmanians to make decisions about what’s good to eat – Our What’s in Season Guides, VegitUp and GetFruity tips Grow Gather Give is a social enterprise that supports NW Tasmanians through growing, gathering and giving fresh produce to those in need with an emphasis on nutrition and dignity for all. Set on two acres on the grounds of Burnie The free food hub is open every Tuesday and Thursday between 10:30 and 1:30 to provide fresh produce to any that come no questions asked. Food Hampers are also being delivered to local community members who can't travel to the food hub Delivering food boxes from Rocky Cape to Penguin

Currently supporting Red Cross in the north, they have four vehicles in the north and have spare capacity in the afternoons in the north to assist.
