TAR CÍ S I O AUGUSTO

Hello!
I’m a 3D Designer who loves to create captivating and immersive experiences through different media and tools.
I started my adventure in the world of creativity already in my teen years, always drawing and experimenting with new forms of expression. However, only after starting my Graphic Design Degree that I found my love for digital means and the infinite possibilities this platform allows for creation.
I have several sources of inspiration, among them the audiovisual classics of the 20th Century, Asian Pop Culture and even internet-born artistic movements such as Vaporwave, Y2K and others.
I always attempt to understand the new tendencies of the audiovisual world and the ways in which new technologies are unfolding, and to reenact those in my projects with that knowledge.
That way, I make it so that curiosity is my creative fuel.

MOTO G7 EXPERIENCE
Moto G7 Experience was an Augmented Reality installed in several Points Of Sale throughout Brazil.

Its main objective was to advertise the then newly released G7 line, showcasing each model’s main technical resources and advantages.
G7, G7 Play, G7 Plus and G7 Power were showcased in the selected POS. It was possible to use each device pointing your camera to an image of the stand and navigate through unique experiences where the main functions of each model were shown in a simple and fun way.
Moto G7 showed a character skateboarding at a skate lane in and out the screen of a virtual device floating over the table to show its stabilizing capacity in recording.

Moto G7 Play had two runners, with one of them representing one of the models. That runner accelerated at a very high speed to demonstrate the device’s performance.
Moto G7 Plus had a party stage in a terrace, all dynamic and interactive with the objective of showing the camera app’s capabilities even in dark environments.

Moto G7 Power showed a character in camping through a day-night cycle to show the high battery capacity.

TINY REALITIES

The Tiny Realities Project was born of experimenting in virtual environments. Its main objective was to give way to creativity while building imaginary spaces that incited emotions like solitude, nostalgia and curiosity. All those spaces were modeled and rendered in Blender.

VR OIL MANAGEMENT
OIL MANAGEMENT was a Virtual Reality platform where the user had the possibility to simulate oil and natural gas-based power plants in real time.

In a cozy virtual environment, the user had access to a workbench with a virtual map of Brazil. Through its tools it was possible to insert different facilities on the energy production grid.
Using live data like petroleum barrel prices and the dollar exchange, the user could visualize and estimate the costs and benefits of each facility.

VEOLIA CATÁLOGO AR

Veolia™ Catálogo is an Augmented Reality app project in which sellers and users could see and learn about their products.
Since lab equipment has a delicate nature, it isn’t always possible to check the products physically. The app facilitates that experience when it allows the user, with a few taps, to insert their product of choice in the environment.

For that project, precisely measured digital replicas of the equipment were built.

WebAR e Filtros
With this project, several FARMRIO products were generated with usage of photogrammetry and 3D Models. The company aims to expand its e-commerce reach in the future. Many pieces of footwear, clothing and accessories were photographed to generate the digital models, which were modified so that any device could display them through the browser in an easy and quick way. The models, albeit optimized, had to keep a degree of realism and serve the customer’s purpose of experimenting, just like in a real store. Snapchat filters were created too, allowing you to try footwear in real time at the comfort of your residence.

MOVING MEDITATIONS CHALLENGE
The project was part of one of the greatest modelling and 3D animation challenges, organized by Clint “Pwnisher” Jones.

In its last edition, with the Theme of Moving Meditations, it was required for the team to animate a scene based off of tai chi chuan movements.
To develop that idea, I used the keyword “Experimentation” as a core, and with that created a robot lab setting where a character controls its robotic arms while interacting the surrounding environment.
