6TH INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR FOR COMPOSITE MATERIALS, TECHNOLOGIES AND PRODUCTS KOMPOZYT-EXPO® KRAKOW, POLAND 25-26.11.2015
Ladies and Gentlemen, Two teams of most talented Polish design engineers. Each can boast great talents, passion and commitment. Both work with a precision that defines their success, as in this business every millimetre matters. They are young and their heads are full of daring ideas. They love a challenge. What they have in common are composites. Some of the most talented Polish design engineers will visit Krakow on 25-26 November for the 6th International Trade Fair for Composite Materials, Technologies and Products KOMPOZYT-EXPO® to present their unusual achievements. The first team will show F1 cars which promise to revolutionize the car racing and automotive industries alike. The second will demonstrate an airplane which has been awarded in many prestigious international competitions, including SAE AeroDesign West in California. This year’s KOMPOZYT-EXPO® will therefore become a special meeting place of the best engineers, who largely draw on the materials and technology offered by the composite industry. But this is not the only reason why this year’s autumn trade fair, taking place at EXPO Krakow, will be extraordinary. In spite of the fact that there are still a few months left until the fair begins, we can assure you now that KOMPOZYT-EXPO® has never been as popular as it is this year. We have already sold 70% of the exhibition space, with some of the leading Polish and international firms having confirmed their attendance. What’s interesting is that some of the exhibitors will be celebrating their business-operations anniversaries at the fair, among them Baltazar Kompozyty Sp. z o.o. (10 years) and F.H. Ataszek (25 years). KOMPOZYT-EXPO® will also feature many companies from the Czech Republic, France, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Portugal, Switzerland, Turkey, the USA and Hungary. The organizers also expect many international visitors, whose number is growing with every year. Also worth mentioning are the presentations of new products and premieres of products and services; for example the Hungarian company Kompozitor Kft will present Furanflex® – a special flexible composite chimney liner tube, cured when inserted in or by ventilation technique, the fitting of which does not require wall demolition. This is only one of the revolutionary products that will be seen at the KOMPOZYT-EXPO®.

Specialists will be able to take advantage of an extensive accompanying program of lectures and presentations. For the first day, the organizers have prepared a session chaired by Prof. Tadeusz Uhl, entitled “Calculations and testing of composite structures”, and for the second, a session entitled “The production and properties of (bio)composites”, led by Prof. Andrzej Błędzki. Presentations will also be held in the Technical Presentation Zone. Please feel free to read the first issue of the KOMPOZYT-EXPO® Trade Fair bulletin and to take part in the event itself.
