Ambassador Programs OVERVIEW Yamaha provides a number of programs for your dealership to put product on the water. In summary, the programs available are laid out below:

Dealer Ambassador Sales Program Dealer Ambassador Program The purpose of this program is to encourage you and your staff to get out on the water in a dealership's branded Customer Demo boat, to immerse and educate yourself in the product and become highly visible ambassadors of both Yamaha and your dealership’s brand. This is especially vital when selling Helm Master EX - demonstrating Helm Master EX on the water is a guaranteed opportunity to secure sales.

Your dealership will be responsible for driving the program by identifying and implementing locally based activities that engage and/or promote the brands to new and existing customers.

Your dealership logo can also be applied to the Demo vessel, however it must be clearly separated from the ‘Customer Demo Powered by Yamaha’ logo.

Process Submit your completed Dealer Ambassador Program Outboard Application Form to your Dealer Relationship Manager (DRM).

Once approved, the outboard and rigging kit will be dispatched at the standard Deler List Price. The unit and rigging will be automatically Warranty Registered and the Warranty will commence straight away.

After 180 days, you are able retail the unit. At the time of retail, please supply the completed Dealer Ambassador Program Outboard Application Form, a copy of the Warranty Card with the details of the new owner and a copy of the Contract of Sale to the Yamaha Internal Sales Team.

Dealer Ambassador Sales Program Conditions: The Dealer Ambassador Program falls outside of any other Yamaha or Dealership promotion. (i.e. cannot be taken in combination with any other offer).

The Dealer Ambassador Program must be pre-approved by your local Dealer Relationship Manager (DRM).

The Dealer Ambassador Program is available on new wholesale orders only. (i.e. Existing dealer stock units are not eligible to be used in this program).

Product Ambassador Sales Program Product Ambassador Program Yamaha Marine offers a ‘Product Ambassador’ program with the aim of developing stronger and mutually beneficial relationships for Yamaha and our dealerships with influential commercial operators, online content producers and marine media.

What is a Product Ambassador?

A Product Ambassador is a commercial marine operator or high profile (online content producer) marine or fishing journalist that has the potential to introduce new customers to the Yamaha brand and your Dealership, through their day-to-day business activities.

Working in partnership with your dealership, the Yamaha Marine Team would like to offer you support in identifying and appointing Product Ambassadors for your Dealership. Potential targets for this program include: •

Boating and personal watercraft license trainers.

Fishing guides.

•

Charter/tourist operators.

•

Local marine media personalities, online content producers and journalists.

Product Ambassador Sales Program How to initiate a “Product Ambassador” relationship Once you have identified a potential Product Ambassador, your Yamaha Dealer Relationship Manager (DRM) will work with you to assess and approve the opportunity using the guidelines shown below.

Ultimately, the success of your local program depends on your dealership’s commitment to investing the necessary time and resources to develop and nurture each relationship over time.

Guidelines to selecting a Product Ambassador •

Your dealership believes the business and / or individual will promote Yamaha and your dealership favourably and would be a good “Product Ambassador” for the Yamaha brand.

Your dealership judges the business and / or individual to be professional, safe, honest and responsible.

•

The boat the engine is to be fitted to must meet all relevant registration requirements.

•

The operator will continue to have the product serviced by your dealership and meet the factory recommended servicing schedule.

•

This program is restricted to a maximum of two applications per dealership per calendar year.

Yamaha Branding stickers are available.

Outboard Dealer and Product Ambassador Application Form

Process 1. Submit your completed Product Ambassador Program Outboard Application Form below to your Yamaha Dealer Relationship Manager (DRM).

2. If approved, Internal Sales will allocate the outboard unit and rigging kit with an upfront discount, and your Dealer Relationship Manager (DRM) will arrange decals to be sent to your dealership for installation.

Conditions: The Product Ambassador Program falls outside of any other Yamaha or Dealership promotion. (i.e. cannot be taken in combination with any other offer).

The Product Ambassador Program is pre-approved by your local Dealer Relationship Manager (DRM).

The Product Ambassador Program is available on new wholesale orders only. (i.e. Existing dealer stock units are not eligible to be used in this program).

The standard commercial rebate program will continue to be available for standard commercial business, if the commercial operator falls outside of these Product Ambassador guidelines.
