PROGRAM NOTES
God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen is a delicate rendition of the beloved English carol. This medium-easy chamber style piece is musically sophisticated while remaining simple to perform technically. The piece includes two performers on a low A marimba, vibraphone, glockenspiel, chimes, and four timpani (no tuning changes). The arrangement can also be performed as a mallet quartet, omitting the chimes and timpani.
