CHRISTMAS TIME IS HERE from A Charlie Brown Christmas arranged for solo vibraphone by Stephen Primatic
Christmas Time is Here is from the 1965 TV special “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” The music was written by jazz pianist Vince Guaraldi, and the song has become a standard for the Holiday season. This solo vibraphone version was written to resemble an improvised solo, but all harmonies and melodic lines were carefully thought through. X noteheads indicate mallet dampening of a previously sustaining note. No dynamics are indicated, and the performer should feel free to experiment with expressive interpretations. –Stephen Primatic
