Croco is a crocodile. He swims like an ordinary crocodile, walks like an ordinary crocodile, and eats like an ordinary crocodile …

… or at least he tries.
Croco tried all fifty ways that crocodiles know to get out of a hole, but none of them worked. He was trapped.
A snake slithered over to the hole and said, “Getting out of there is eassssy, you jusssst have to wrap yoursssself, around that trunk and sssspin your way up here.”
Croco wrapped himself around the trunk and tried to spin and spin, but it didn’t work.
A pair of birds flew overand said, “Getting out of there is easy! You just have to flap your wings up and down very fast, until you get up here.”
Croco tried to fly. He flapped his legs up and down as fast as he could, but it didn’t work.
“Getting out of there is easy,” said a trio of monkeys leaping by. “You just have to grab the wall and jump from left to right until you get up here.”
Croco jumped from left to right, back and forth, but it didn’t work.
When they saw what had happened, the other animals realized maybe it wasn’t as easy as they thought. So, they decided to help him-all together.
But that didn’t work either. Croco was still trapped in the deepest, darkest part of the hole.
And so, he started to cry.
