PROFILE

I am fourth-undergraduate architecture student from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.

I am very open minded, eager to learn and highly motivated. Inspiration for me comes in looking into nature, the discourse created via computational architecture, and the idea generative form of physical models, and sketch prototypes. In the future, in order to broaden my architectural knowledge I wish to travel the world and study architecture through experiencing and immersing myself in international environments and selected built works by my favourite architects.

EXPANDO

THAKEDDY, KERELA, INDIA/

I participated in an International Design Competition ‘OFF THE GRID’ organised by Artuminate & Archiol .‘EXPANDO’ is a Tiny House designed to adapt to its natural and warm environment and at the same time be easily transportable. The floors of the rooms are expandable and slides with the use of rails and anti-friction wheels. The limit between outside and inside becomes blurred and the house merges with the surrounding nature.

Grey water filtration system uses natural materials to filter the water. The water from grey water tank is transferred to a tub which has coarse materials like wood heaps to decompose the food materials with the help of worms from the water. It is then further taken to a grease trap to separate dirt and oil from it. The outlet of grease trap is flown down to a tub filled with porous rocks which has plants such as cattail whose roots contributes in filtering water. Then the water coming out is stored. Fish as a mosquito control agent is there in the final holding tank to stop mosquito larvae.

The rain water is getting collected and is stored in tank. It is then further transferred to filter through 12V motor that uses energy from solar panel than directing it to different parts of house. The water collected in grey water tank is transferred to garden after getting filtered through a natural filtration system that is provided. Rocket stove is used to heat water from tank and is further transferred to an outside shower bath tub.

PARAMETRIC BEAN CHAIR

I designed this parametric chair which is inspired from bean bag . It adapts easily to the conditions of the space where it is located and harmoniously integrates functional ele ments. it’s easy to make your living room stand out using cost-effective and innovative methods. It is making the space beautiful and unique.

AURA SKYCRAPPER

I designed this parametric skycrapper using grasshopere and rhino to adapt to the increasing population. Voronoi diagram is used as it divides the subspaces in an organ ic way. This way the spaces can be used more efficiently and without wastage. Organic shape in building helps to connect with human as humans have a natural preference for these shapes which can help to reduce stress and enhance concentration. Voronoi can also refer to ‘evolution’ as it’s the basic shape that is getting repeated in different ways which is representing humans life.
