01 SRIRANGAPATTANA PILGRIMAGE CENTER SEM 8 URBAN DESIGN STUDIO LOCATION: SRIRANGAPATNA, KARNATAKA

ABOUT: The project is a divine abode for the pilgirms visiting Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple in the city of srirangapatna. through the site visit and study of the city we created a list of problems which the visitors were facing. This project was solving those urban problems through our architectural design.

The concept was to create a space which felt divine not unlike the aura of Sri Ranganatha Swamy temple. The structure uses humble locally sourced materials and the design take inspiration form the marvels of the south Indian temple architecture.

02 SCIENCE CENTRE SEM 7 ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN STUDIO LOCATION: PONDICHERRY, TAMIL NADU

PUDUCHERRY SCIENCE CENTRE ABOUT: The project is designing a science centre with a topic of interest.

It had to be built expanding the APJ Abdul Kalam science museum. Care was taken as to not disrupting the existing stucture but rather blend in with its surroundings.

One of the main features of the structures is the dynamic roof which was included for helping with the humid climate of puducherry.

The project contains three main structures- the planatarium, the museum and the open air theatre, all with unique design points.

It has a dynamic roof which has openings which in turn is controlled by the amount of sunlight required inside the building.

This structure has a museum on the ground floor and a planetarium on the next floor.

The structure has a form of a planet and it’s ring.

This structure has a museum in the first floor and an observatory above it. The observatory space is such that you can see the museum through a glass.

This is to understand the scale of the massive universe and compare it to its miniatures below.

03 HIGHWAY CAFE SEM 2 ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN STUDIO/ INTERIOR DESIGN (MINOR PROJECT)

ABOUT: The project was to design a cafe which is a resting place in the highway. it is a small cafw with indoor and outdoor seating. it also has provision for a drive thru.

All the materials selected were as such that it gives a natural rustic look. The poroject has more of rough concrete and different textures of wood.

ABOUT Designing the interiors of a living room. With a specific theme to the project, creating a mood board and designing the interiors of the project.

The theme for the project is industrial edge. Embracing simplicity, the theme uses natural finish materials and sleek furniture with wood and metal as its main material.

ABOUT: Interior design of a 3 bhk apartment house.

The foyer has an inviting vibe with a mirror placed which also helps in giving it a sense of enlarged space.

The colour scheme is neutral with hints of pastel colours.

The master bed room has a tv unit. The kids bedroom has a workstation to work on.

The guest bedroom has a foldable murphy bed for efficient space.

The kitchen has a elegant colour scheme - sage green and white with hints of gold.

The kitchen has an attached breakfast counter which is next to the dining table.

All the colour go harmoniously with each other.

PRODUCT DESIGN - APPLICATION DESIGN

An interactive application made during the covid times for the people.

The app acts like an information center. it stores your information and your requirments and acoordingly provides you with your covid need.

It provides information on medicines, doctor recommendations, available hospital beds and ambulance service. It is a one stop solution to help you with your covid requirements.

URBAN DESIGN MODEL - THE ISLAND CITY OF SRIRANGAPATNA SEM 8 URBAN DESIGN STUDIO GROUP PROJECT.

BIOMIMICRY PRODUCT DESIGN : TAKING INSPIRATION FROM NATURE AND CREATING A PAVILLION STRUCTURE. THE BASE OF THE PAVILLION HAS HEXAGONAL SHAPES WHICH IS ONE OF THE MOST STABLE STRUCTURES INSPIRED FROM A BEE HIVE. THE TOP STRUCTURE TAKES INSPIRATION FORM A LEAF AND ITS VEINS, 3 OF THEM INTERTWINED TOGETHER. IT ALSO HAS A DRAIN PIPE IN THE MIDDLE OF EACH LEAF IN CASE OF RAIN.
