About Me

My journey in graphic design spans over four years of crafting engaging educational materials tailored for educators to enhance reading instruction, ranging from comprehensive lesson layouts to captivating logos, and extending to impactful social media and blog visuals.

During this time, I actively pursued opportunities to innovate and add value through design. Whether collaborating with clients or taking the lead on projects, I consistently sought to solve problems creatively and exceed expectations. Notable successes include fostering strong client relationships resulting in successful branding campaigns, effectively leading design teams to meet project deadlines, and implementing strategic design solutions that achieved measurable outcomes.

Beyond traditional graphic design, I’ve ventured into diverse realms, including Twitch streamer branding, where I’ve crafted compelling logos, advertisements, and illustrations that resonate with audiences and elevate their online presence.

Moreover, I’ve continually expanded my skill set by delving into social media marketing strategies, understanding the integral role of design in driving engagement and brand recognition across digital platforms.

Looking ahead, I’m eager to continue learning and embracing new challenges within the dynamic field of graphic design. Whether it’s mastering emerging design trends, refining my project management skills, or exploring innovative approaches to visual storytelling, I remain committed to evolving as a versatile and adaptable designer.

Grades 2/3 Review and Transfer Day Routines

In preparation for an EdReports deadline, I layed out the content for our Review and Transfer Day Routines lesson manual. I created the infographic displayed on Example 1. For Examples 2 and 3, placed the images and markings in their respective places, as well as adjusted the tables to properly fit the content. The end result: Reading Horizons achieved all green scores on the EdReports system.

Blog Post

Using a pattern made from our outlined logo, I made an accent design in the corner of the feature image. The colors can be swapped within the branded color palette for different looks. Text size is adjusted according to length.

This design follows the parameters of the Blog Post, but in a vertical layout to

size requirements.

Sarah Mapes aimed to create a compelling lead magnet that highlights the importance of bone health. The goal was to educate clients on the benefits of maintaining a healthy lifestyle through proper nutrition and exercise. The lead magnet was designed to provide valuable insights and practical advice on how to strengthen and protect bones. It included information on essential nutrients, dietary tips, and effective exercises tailored for bone health.

Goal: McKay Winward desired to create a mock up landing page for a theoretical Omega-3 supplement website. I based the color palette on softer colors that would be more pleasing to the eye of the target audience. I encorporated the fish design throughout to denote the use of fish oils to promote joint relief. McKay created the text for the ad and landing page, while I adjusted hierarchy and other visual elements.
