improved learning environment organization -folders/ sharing calendars more efficient - saves time/ use is more meaningful for students, who especially are organized it's debatable if it saves resources or not gets rid of one time use paper not all paper
Getting started 1. Establish a routine-warm up question on the wiki with any docs needed posted there; download any docs needed for class; can be answered using chat during class? 2. Collect email addresses (helpful if school issues email addresses) 3. Create group e-mail lists Benefits • assignments emailed to you • due dates are clear since time posted shows up • teacher in control of work handed in /student can't make changes Problems • students don't name assignments properly-clearly explain how to do this • don't put the correct subject in the email put hw or homework • many files on hard drive Cloud based
