Action Indoor Sports Hamilton provides everything needed to have fun and get fit. Currently running leagues in Mixed and Ladies Indoor Netball, Indoor Football, Indoor Cricket and Dodgeball. Sports run in the evening from Monday to Friday. Spaces are available every night across all sports. So grab some friends, family and workmates and come on down to join in the Action. Junior Sports are run during the school terms. The Action facilities are available for group functions, social, work and team outings with sports and competitions specific to individual requirements.
At the same location Inflatable World is also available – a giant playground for kids and adults alike. Lots of different inflatables for all ages – a Dora Castle, Sumo Ring, Gladiator Pit, Obstacle Course and more!! Grab some socks and head on down for a bounce! Inflatable World is a great place for kid’s birthday parties or book the whole place for your own private function.

Holidays are good news and bad news for children. The good, is that they need a break for a while and it gives them opportunity to explore other parts of the country and spend time with family. The bad news is that they often forget things and regress with their academic skills. The solution is the Kip McGrath block holiday programme run Monday to Friday 9am-12. This is equivalent to two of our normal 80min sessions with a break in between. Students come for all ten sessions or just for some. This enables them to refresh their learning ready for when school starts. It has been of great help to many students as they start back with assessments that help determine their years work. TAEKIDOKAI MARTIAL ARTS Classes for children Our very popular junior classes suit children aged 4-12 years old. We teach a range of martial arts techniques aimed at developing both physical and mental capabilities. Children become stronger and more flexible while also learning co-ordination and improving their concentration. Children’s classes are designed to be fun as well as instructional. Children learn that physical activity can be enjoyable, and they learn good technique as well as self- discipline. Junior classes are structured to suit the learning needs of children. We don’t expect children to learn like adults. Our style is non-competitive, we don’t want children to fight each other to win, so you don’t have to worry about children getting hurt. All students learn to respect and help their fellow students and feel comfortable learning in a safe environment. New students are welcome all the time. Classes have a mix of beginners and more advanced students, each working on their own curriculum. Our graded system starts at white belt. As each grade is attained more complicated techniques are introduced. Each new grade is a goal and keeps students motivated and keen to come to class to learn new things and practice things learnt. You are invited to try a class and see if you like it. There is no obligation and no need to book. Just turn up to your nearest class and join in. You pay as you go and only for the lessons you attend. The first class is free.

DIRECTIONS SCHOOL OF DANCE Looking for a fun place for your child to dance? Looking for experienced, caring teachers? Then Directions School of Dance is the place to go. Children from as young as three years can enjoy Jazz based classes where their imagination is unleashed while still learning the basics of dance. Once they turn five years they attend syllabus classes in either Jazz or Hip Hop, with the option to take Contemporary once they are nine. Musical Theatre classes are also popular – combining dance with some acting skills.

Dance is a fabulous discipline for every child, teaching respect, self discipline, self motivation, and working together as a team. Directions has an annual end of year Show each December, with a theme, individual characters to fit the theme, costumes and special effects. This is the highlight of the dance year. Spectators are welcome, and students are encouraged to attend a class before deciding whether it is right for them. Classes range from pre-school, through to teens and adult only classes – there is definitely something for everyone. With Studios in Hillcrest and Cambridge, there is plenty of flexibility
