Post Graduate Certificate Programs
The Post Graduate Certificate Programs for Adult-Gerontology Primary Care, Adult-Gerontology Acute Care, or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners prepare practicing NPs for eligibility to sit for program specific board certification.

Requirements for graduation
• Successful completion of all required coursework. • Successful completion of required clinical hours. • Demonstration of the ability to perform the skills in the Tan Chingfen Graduate School of Nursing Technical Standards with or without reasonable accommodations consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act. • Completion of Certification for Graduation and any additional administrative requirements such as payment of all fines including library and parking, returning all books, payment of any outstanding bills, course evaluations, etc. • Completion of all certificate requirements within the statute of limitations for the respective program.
Certification
It is an expectation that graduates of the nurse practitioner tracks will seek national certification. The table below reflects the eligible exams by NP track.
