Graduate Entry Pathway (GEP) Admissions Policy Approved by Faculty Assembly on 4/14/22
Candidates for admission must address the following minimum criteria:
Prerequisite requirements
• Undergraduate GPA 3.0 or higher is preferred • Anatomy & Physiology I with Lab (taken within five years; grade B or higher recommended) • Anatomy & Physiology II with Lab (taken within five years; grade B or higher recommended) • Microbiology with Lab (taken within five years; grade B or higher recommended) • College Level Statistics Course (no expiration; grade B or higher recommended) • Nutrition Course (taken within 5 years; grade B or higher recommended) o If any prerequisite courses are in progress at the time of application, provide a plan for completion and include college/university, course, expected date of completion. • Human Growth & Development Across the Lifespan Course (taken within five years; grade B or higher recommended) • TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) results are needed for those applicants whose language of instruction was not English. Scores above 250 on the computer test or 600 on the paper test or 100 on the internet-based test is recommended.

• Completed application in Nursing CAS o Includes the following: ▪ Biographic Information (Required) ▪ Contact Information (Required) ▪ Citizenship Information (Required) ▪ Race & Ethnicity (Requested) ▪ Family Information (Requested) • Official Transcripts from all colleges/universities attended o Must also report name of high school attended. • Current CV or resume • Three letters of recommendation • Personal Statement • Application fee • Evidence of CPR Certification for Health Providers (BLS) by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required by the time of matriculation
