Safety rules are in place for your benefit and enjoyment. The Sky Trail Team will be there to advise and assist. You must be at least five years old and one metre tall to use the Sky Trail Adventure. Sky Trail

Futsal is an exciting, fast-paced small-sided football game that is widely played across the world. Most of today’s greatest players such as Messi and Ronaldo perfected their skills by playing Futsal at a young age. If you love football and want to take your game to the next level, book on our Futsal camp today!

Futsal camp

Tamworth Rugby Club are opening their doors to new and experienced rugby players, both boys and girls. Through many different training drills, skills and games, this actionpacked week will focus on all-round player development and most importantly on having fun!

Boxing teaches children discipline, self-control, improves concentration and promotes social inclusion. Like many physical activities it also boosts fitness levels, keep kids active, boosts self-esteem and improves confidence. Children are also taught not to use it outside of the ring and the importance of respecting others.

Bowl over the boredom this summer and enjoy a free game of ten-pin bowling at Namco Funscape. Situated in the heart of Tamworth Castle Grounds, the stylish 26-lane bowling alley is the perfect place for children of all ages and abilities to have fun in a family-friendly environment, with lighter balls, ramps and barriers all available to enhance their experience.

Up to 72 child bowling places are available daily on a first come, first served basis. Pre-booking is advised to avoid disappointment.

Adult supervision is required and a maximum of 6 places can be reserved per booking.

Splash and Swim Fun Sessions

Enjoy some wet and wild fun this summer at Wilnecote Leisure Centre’s splash and swim sessions. The pool will be full of floats, balls and hoops and will be available for the first 20 children per hour on a first come first served basis. Participants can collect the free tickets from Wilnecote Leisure Centre’s reception and will not be allowed in the water without a ticket.

Ice S k ating

The SnowDome offers the ultimate ice skating experience.

The UK’s only ice track surrounds the ice skating rink offering an unparalled ice skating facility for all ages and abilities.The skate hire lodge and ice track entrance amenity areas offer a warm and pleasant environment in which to collect your skates and get changed before heading out onto the ice for some free sliding and gliding fun.

Whether you have ever held a golf club or not, it doesn't matter - Crazy Golf can be played by all ages and abilities!

The course has nine tricky holes for you to master. It is a great outdoor activity for all of the family.

Gymnastics

Gymnastics is a great way for children to be active and learn a range of skill. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from our qualified coaching team some basic floor and vaulting skills, as well as having the chance to have a go on the equipment in our dedicated training facility, including a foam pit.

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis, so hurry to book your place now. We are also on the lookout for the next budding champion, so take the opportunity to shine.

Watersports

Make a splash into summer this year at Tamworth’s premier watersports destination. Children will get the chance to join the experienced team at Cliff Lakes for exciting, adrenalinefuelled activities such as stand-up paddle boarding, raft building, kayaking and wakeboarding.

Please note that children can only book on for one day, all safety equipment and wetsuits will be provided.

Cycling Activites & Training

These free activities are perfect for youngsters looking to learn for the first time or improve their skills on a bike.

BALANCE BIKE TRAINING (Age 4-6) A structured programme using balance bikes to help children master the fundamental skills needed to ride a bicycle safely and confidently.

Tennis

LEARN TO RIDE (Age 7-10) For children who want to ditch the stabilisers and improve their cycling technique. Designed to inspire young riders, to get them to want to ride their bike and prepare them for Bikeability Level One

Tennis is a fantastic sport, which can be played for a lifetime.
