I AM _________ (METAPHOR) WHO __________ (IMPACT). 1. Start by thinking through what metaphor, image or individual inspires you. 2. What inspires you about this metaphor? 3. What is the energy behind this image? 4. What does this image bring up for you? What do you sense or notice in your body? This is your metaphor for your Why and personal mission statement. Now for your impact. 1. What is the impact you want to have during your lifetime? On yourself, on others, your community, or on the world? 2. When you think about coming to the end of your life, what will your life have been all about? 3. What will have mattered most to you about your life? 4. What do you want to be remembered for? YOUR PERSONAL MISSION STATEMENT

I AM _________ (METAPHOR) WHO __________ (IMPACT).

YOUR ASSIGNMENT: 1.Write out your personal mission statement and put it on your wall. Look at it each day at the beginning of your day. 2.For the next week, practice saying your personal mission statement out loud, 10 times each day. 3.Stand up and say your personal mission statement to the room. How do you feel when you say it? 4.What would make your personal mission statement even more inspiring for you? What would take it to an inspiration level of 9 or 10?
