Get your seats early and bring your best game faces, because you’re not going to want to miss this. Tonight the Benjamin Russell Wildcats play host to the Wetumpka Indians at the Charles E. Bailey Sportplex for a chance to claim the Class 6A Region 3 championship. Benjamin Russell enters the game

with a 7-1 overall record, and it is unblemished in region play. Wetumpka stands at 8-1 (4-1) and is coming off its first loss of the season, a 20-19 defeat at the hands of Opelika. Looking for its first region title since 2013, Benjamin Russell holds a total of 15 region championships and a win on Friday would make it 16.
