Officials from the Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Bureau spent Wednesday combining through the wreckage of an airplane crash in a remote area near Dadeville, searching for clues into what caused the plane to go down. A man who was the face of law enforcement in the town of Camp Hill for more than two decades before being terminated in 2014 now finds himself on the other side of the law. Former Camp Hill Police Chief Roosevelt Finley, 58, Finley of Opelika, turned himself on seven counts of violation of Ethics Laws after an Alabama Ethics Commission investigation recommended criminal charges. Tallapoosa County Sheriff Jimmy Abbett confirmed Finley was arrested and released after posting a $100,000 bond. Abbett said since his office did not handle the investigation, he could not comment on the charges. While an arrest report or details of the investigation
