Public help sought in forgery case Surveillance video shows man police are hoping to question By CLIFF WILLIAMS Staff Writer
The Alexander City Police Department is seeking the public’s help to identify a suspect. Detectives with the police department posted an image taken from security video at Walmart on their Facebook page in hopes of finding out who the individual is. “He is wanted for possession of a forged instrument, ACPD Detective George Long said. “He is our prime suspect. Long said a victim filed a report Monday at the department and they were able to obtain video from Walmart. As of now, the Long does not have any other incidents. “Right now, it is just at Walmart, Long said. Long could not say how much money was involved or if the individual tried to use someone else’s credit or debit card or cash a check but it does not matter. Cliff Williams / The Outlook
