Outlook editor dies following crash By CLIFF WILLIAMS Staff Writer

Outlook Editor Mitch Sneed passed away Sunday night as a result of injuries sustained in a Saturday morning automobile accident. A Ford F150 driven by Sneed, 57, was struck from behind by a Honda Accord at the intersection of Highway 280 and Highway 63. “Mr. Sneed was stopped at the time of

the collision,” Alexander City Deputy Police Chief James Easterwood said. “His vehicle was pushed into the intersection.” The rear bumper of Sneed’s truck was pushed under the crushed bed of the truck. Sneed Sneed was airlifted to UAB Hospital for treatment Saturday See ACCIDENT • Page 3

The Alexander City Police Department arrested Samantha Gail-Danielle Denoy and Giovanni Elijah Martone in connection with two area crimes. Denoy, 19, of Yorktown, Virginia was arrested for theft.
