Charges pending after man crashes vehicle into his home By MITCH SNEED Editor
The New Site Police Department is looking into possible charges after a man drove an SUV with drugs inside, spinning through his yard before slamming into a porch at the home Monday evening. First responders were called to a home in the 300 block of Bence Street just after p.m. Monday. Upon arrival investigators found that a 19-year-old male had driven his Toyota 4 Runner through the yard at a high rate of speed. Evidence showed that the vehicle struck a parked car, crashed through an out building on the property before spinning up a hill and crashing into the porch. The covered porch then collapsed on top of the SUV. Even though the structure stopped the vehicle from traveling further, the SUV remained running and the driver was found with his foot on the gas and the tires
