Sheriff Walt McNeil Defends Local Police Officers By Steve Stewart Tallahassee Reports On the Morning Show with Preston Scott last week, Tallahassee Leon County Sheriff Walt McNeil addressed current events and specifically addressed a national narrative that white police officers are indiscriminately killing black citizens. On the protests, McNeil confirmed statements made by Tallahassee Police Chief Lawrence Revell earlier in the week related to agitators among protestors and the placement of material around town that could be used for violent purposes.
