A Guide to Annual Partnerships, Event Sponsorships, and Exhibitions with TAIS

Introduction

AboutTAIS

The Tennessee Association of Independent Schools (TAIS) represents over 65 independent schools across Tennessee and northern Mississippi. As a non-profit governed by a Board of Directors and led by a team of passionate lifelong educators, TAIS supports Member Schools that provide strong academic programs, appreciate students and faculty as unique and whole individuals, foster communityengaged school cultures, and facilitate the moral and ethical growth of their students.

TAIS

Welcome

OurMission

TAIS was established in 1973 to be the active voice and connective resource for our Member Schools.

We uphold that mission today through bespoke professional development, legislative advocacy, representation with TSSAA, and a range of member benefits and services.

ANotefromOurExecutiveDirector

Hello,

We are thrilled to invite you to partner with the Tennessee Association of Independent Schools (TAIS) in the coming academic year! With over 7,500 member educators and leaders across 65+ schools, TAIS provides a powerful platform to elevate your organization’s presence and engage directly with decision-makers in independent education.

Drawing from an enduring mission and in response to emerging trends, our association has four core objectives for the 2025-2026 academic year: support conditions for the flourishing of students, teachers, and leaders; promote a student-centered pedagogy of academic courage, meaning-making, and community engagement; facilitate future-focused practice and policy; and encourage an entrepreneurial business mindset among school leaders. Imagine if we partnered to share purpose, to bring your expertise and resources into the fold, and to foster a stronger community of educational excellence together.

I invite you to explore the full Corporate Partnership Guide and discover how you can get involved. On the final page, you’ll find our contact information as well as links to schedule a Discovery Call and complete the Commitment Form. We are honored at the chance to partner with you!
