SK1 series Press The SK1 press series is a high performance cold forging press. Sanes has increased the rigidity of the frame to prevent slide inclination. SK1 series has versatility system such as lubrication treatment, slug feeding and the removal of finished parts can be incorporated into the system to suit factory demands. Fineblanking is a mixed metal forming process combining the technology of stamping and cold extrusion. The ability of fineblanking is to pierce small holes and create thin web section often save the need for costly secondary drilling and machining cost. Throughout the fineblanking process pressure is constantly applied to both sides of the part-achieving flatness unmatched by conventional stamping. High-End Milling / 5 Axis/ Milling and Turning Controllers At TIMTOS 2015, HEIDENHAIN exhibits TNC 640. This is the first millingmachine control, which offers optional turning functions. In the NC program, you can use plain-language commands to change between turning and milling. In this way the machines with TNC 640 not only saves space and money needed for a second machine, but it also avoids inaccuracies that may occur when rechecking workpieces. With its ADP function (Advanced Dynamic Prediction) the TNC 640 optimizes path control of the feed axes. Reduced data resolution in NC programs or uneven point distribution no longer result in feed rate fluctuations or limit surface quality. The new quickly understandable user interface ensures an even better overview during programming and setup. Different colors enable you to distinguish at a glance between values, comments, and syntax elements. With smartSelect you can select functions quickly and easily under dialog guidance. With the new finely detailed 3-D graphic simulation—unique among CNC controls—you can exactly evaluate the result of milling, drilling or turning processes even before actual machining. The new CAD viewer opens many standard 3-D formats and displays them directly on the TNC 640. You can also be sure that the finished contour is exactly according to the design engineer’s specifications. The dynamic collision monitoring (DCM) interrupts machining and thus increases safety for the machine and the operator.
