he 25th TIMTOS (Taipei International Machine Tool Show) joins the industry for all round benefits.

Visitors to this massive endeavor from March 3 to 8 will be able to check out 1,015 firms using 5,411 booths that make up Asia's 2nd largest machine show. This, the world’s 5th largest show of its kind, offers 100,000 sqm of dedicated space across TWTCs Exhibition Halls 1 & 3, NANGANG Exhibition Hall and the Expo Dome.

TIMTOS has expanded by leaps and bounds as it strives to become the best procurement show and trend setter.

About 1,015 exhibitors will showcase their products, covering 5,372 booths, these figures indicate that the show is getting better each time.

This year, around 706 domestic exhibitors cover 4,370 booths. Taipei Expo Dome has been added as one of the exhibition halls to replace TWTC Hall 2. TAMI and TAITRA will support both exhibitors and visitors with comprehensive services.

Affairs. The latest controller applications cover the works, everything from the processing of mobile phone shells to dental implants. And the makers themselves demonstrate this tech, namely Advantech LNC Technology and Tongtai Machine & Tool.

3.Stretching over to the Expo Dome to profile elite forming machine tools This year for the first time the EXPO DOME is added to TIMTOS. Dedicated to forming machine tools, it hosts 46 firms including Shieh Yih Machinery Industry, Sanes Presses, Chin Fong Machine Industrial and Kuen Lin Precision. They highlight the best in presses, shears, bending machines, casting machines and forging machines.

For added prospects TAITRA mobilized its global 60 overseas offices to invite target oversea buyers for procurement visits. These

visitors are among the more than 7,000 prized foreign buyers expected at the show.

Many of them will be from Germany, Brazil, Turkey, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Russia, Kazakhstan and China.

Other confirmed big buyers include those from advanced digital control machine tool maker “KONOSVIT MAS A.S.” from the Czech Republic, the largest mechanical press manufacturer Jier Machine-Tool Group from China, automatic system firm FAGOR AUTOMATION from Spain and those from the massive industry group FINVAL-INDUSTRY based in the Russia Federation. Show-generate business is expected to exceed US$1 billion!

This expo also features more than 200 "one-by-one procurement talks" and over 30 professional technology seminars. They include the “Efficient Aerospace Processing Technology Seminar” and “Intelligent Firm Technology Forum”. There’s also the highly anticipated “12 th R&D and Innovative

Machine Tool Competition” where 48 firms and 51 works vie for top place, with the winner announced at the Welcome Reception on March 4.

And TIMTOS leads the way in services that include its TIMTOS free app that profiles all participating firms, free product directory and special show shuttle buses that zip visitors between expo halls. The host even offers foreign buyers free MRT cards that are embedded into the passes for convenient travel on the MRT. Perspective of 2015 Machine Tool Industry by John Hsu, Chairman of Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry The Swiss and German pavilions have also been set up this year. Not to forget the attendance of many important foreign associations, such as CARMAHE from Argentina, CMTBA from China, JMTBA and JSPMI from Japan, KOMMA from Korea, UCIMU from Italy, IMTMA from India, MIB from Turkey, and VDW from Germany. These international associations and organizations are here to celebrate the 25th year of TIMTOS, which signifies the value of TIMTOS in the global machine tool market.

Taiwan’s machine tool export value in 2014 The total export value of Taiwan machine tool industry early this year went up, reaching US$3.75 billion, a 5.8 % growth on the same period last year. In the export ranking list, Mainland China ranked first with value of US$1.2 billion, accounting for 32.4% of the total number, an increase of 7.3% compared to the same period last year. The U.S. came second with an export value of US$414 million, with 11.1% of the total, and a 3% increase compared to the same period last year; followed by Turkey with 15.8% surge, Germany with 8.9% rise, Netherland with 17.9% hike, and Russia with 8.8% increase.

Meanwhile, the economic growth rate is the key to machinery export business. The world economic growth rate is about 2.7% in 2014 with Taiwan getting 3.51% rate.

Aside from Taiwan’s machine tool economic growth rates, machine tool export destinations valued as follows: China (7.3%), USA (2.3%), Japan (1.0%), Thailand (1.5%), Germany (1.4%), Indonesia (5.2%), Vietnam (5.4%), Korea (3.3%), Singapore (2.9), Philippines (6.1%), India (5.5%), and Malaysia (5.8%).

Chairman Hsu: Taiwan machine tool sector is of well payment Being the the Chairman of TAMI, Mr. Hsu has been working hard for the past six years to promote various programs to develop machine tool talents in Taiwan.

Hsu believes that continuous flow of talent resources can keep Taiwan’s machine tool sector going.

In the last three years, TAMI has been working with educational organizations to bridge the gap between factories and schools. By conducting ongoing educational programs with practical knowledge, students are required to visit factories with the guidance of their professors to experience and learn the facts about machine tools industry.

TAMI aims to build positive images of the machine tools industry to students, educating them about the sector. Further, TAMI also urges factory owners to provide their employees with reasonable wages and perfect working conditions. Thus, efforts between the industry and schools are developing.

In TIMTOS 2015, student groups are invited to the show. This is aimed to encourage students from relevant departments to come and see the exhibition.

TAMI assigns professional instructors to guide the students for onsite education. As a regular volunteer, Chairman Hsu stated that even after his tour duty comes to an end, he will still work on this project in order to attract more people into this field.

TIMTOS: An exchange of knowledge and experience TIMTOS is highly appraised just like EMO, IMTS, CIMT, and JIMTOF. This year TIMTOS celebrates its 25th year, and together all participants are writing history just like before. This exhibition is being recognized by many cutting edge machine manufacturers as a platform to present their latest innovations. Buyers all over the world are welcomed to this bi-annual machine tool event.

TAMI plays an important role in TIMTOS. They assist the exhibitors, and organize the flow of the show.

For instance, this year TAMI invited important Japanese organizations to the exhibition and build networks between Taiwanese and Japanese manufacturers, elevating the technology of Taiwanese machine tool builders. Through the exchange of knowledge and experience, a broader market spectrum is opened for Taiwan manufacturers.

Uncertainty is opportunity The world market has been a major driver of business worries recently with Eurozone’s slow recovery, fluctuating market demand in China, Korean FTA threats, Japanese Yen depreciation including Thailand’s revival speed. However, this market uncertainty is a golden opportunity for Taiwan manufacturers to upgrade its distinctiveness to set apart from its competitors in the global market.

Ta i w a n e s e m u s t b r o a d e n t h e i r geographical and application spectrum in order to survive. For instance, even though the market in Russian is now crucial, it is still an important and huge market with a huge demand for machineries. Therefore, TAMI encourages Taiwanese suppliers to penetrate the market, and align their business models.

Local manufacturers must keep up with the trends such as Industry 4.0 and intelligent manufacturing systems and equip their plants with capable talents to be one step ahead of its contenders. TAMI hopes Taiwan machine tool industry could be the next trillion in the near future. To achieve this target, TAMI will always be here to offer its best service and support.

Scout High-Efficiency Automated-Production at TIMTOS

ee how Taiwan machine tools are leading the way in smarter machinetools!

TIMTOS 2015 is the machine show where all the wonders of modern tech come in a thousand faces. Otherwise known as the 2015 Taipei Int'l Machine Tool Show, this tech-fest comes once every two years to link an industry eager to scout the latest efficiencies, breakthroughs and prospects.

The chief spotlight this year will highlight growing trends toward "automated production". That kind of production encompasses the global wave in smarter manufacturing that includes the best of the top two nations, namely "Advanced Manufacturing Partner (AMP) Program" in the USA and the "Industry 4.0 Plan" of Germany.

This event, the second largest in Asia and Taiwan's largest, is co-organized

by TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council) and TAMI (Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry) and unfolds March 3rd to 8th at TWTC Halls 1 & 3, NANGANG Exhibition Hall and

Yuanshan EXPO Dome. The spring event joins more than 1,000 companies who are using 5,400 booths covering a record 100,000+ sq. meters of show space.

The venue is a leading site to size up the strengths and achievements of highefficiency automated production for such as major stamping equipment manufacturers as Chin Fong's "automated steel coiling and feeding production line for automotive sheet metal" that uses laser to boost efficiency by more than 30% in welding thick and thin plates.

Nearby is Fatek Automation Technology of the Far East Machinery Group which has recently installed two fully automated aluminum wheel rim production lines which can be respectively used for processing aluminum wheel rims for large trucks and passenger cars with high production efficiency.

Tongtai Machine & Tool has exploited its edge in mechanical design and R&D strengths in advanced technology and high performance-price ratio to enhance its self-developed automated production

line intelligent functions to include the differentiation of workpiece types and automatic measurement and correction.

The chairman of Tongtai Machine & Tools, Rui-Hsiung Yan has boldly predicted that "Taiwan's CNC processing machines for aluminum alloy rims now have the chance to become the top supplier."

Taiwan machine tool industry's development toward automation is an

irresistible trend and full of huge prospects.

Looking forward, Taiwan can even leverage its ICT strengths to pioneer automated production lines that combine machine tools and machine arms and to further combine its automation equipment and industrial robots to transform the manufacturing industry into a virtual service industry of added value.

TIMTOS 2015 Machinery e-Commerce Pavilion

ost suppliers have an inventory containing a list of parts, products and services on offer, along with a description, model and order numbers.

Converting that information into an electronic format and taking it online can represent a major shift forward in efficiency, cost savings and customer service. In addition, the suppliers can keep their products up to date in real time as changes occur and, importantly, enable integration with in-house or external e-Commerce engines.

Customers of Swiss machine tools are mainly in

the machinery, automotive, aerospace, aircraft, optical medical, micro-mechanic, and watches industries. It has become evident that specialized high-performance machines are often the better alternative than lower priced general-purpose equipment when operating costs such as power consumption, unit cycle times and yield of the manufacturing process are also taken into account.

Swiss Pavilion at TIMTOS 2015 The largest "Swiss" presence ever at TIMTOS The Swiss pavilion at the upcoming International Machine Tool Show (TIMTOS) will showcase the latest machine tool and tools technologies of over 40 Swiss manufacturers. The Swiss pavilion in the Nankang Exhibition Hall will comprise 105 booths, making it the largest national pavilion and the largest Swiss pavilion of the last 20 years at the trade show this year. Supported by the Trade Office of Swiss Industries in Taipei and the Swiss Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Industries (Swissmem), it will display a wide spectrum of technologies in the fields of grinding, milling, sharpening, turning, jig boring, electrical discharge machining, gear cutting, and forming. The prominent Swiss machine tool presence indicates the importance and the vitality of this industry, and remarks further progress in producers’ attention to local customers’ needs, especially given the increased level of competition they are facing now both at home and abroad. Another some 50 booths are located outside of the Swiss pavilion, which will also exhibit Swiss machines and tools at the exhibition. TIMTOS takes place from 3-8 March 2015.

TIMTOS 2015 adds Expo Dome

aiwan, dubbed as an international manufacturing hub, gathers the big names in one location. The former soccer field turned-Expo Dome, a multi-functional venue where the Taipei International Flora Exposition in 2010–2011 was held, is now added to TIMTOS' rows of exhibition areas.

Twenty years ago, Asian manufacturers sat at the far end of the supply chain spectrum. Products were designed and prototyped in the Europe or USA and later shipped to Asia for cheap, volume manufacturing.

Now, Asian manufacturing companies, with China leading the way, manage design and manufacturing indigenously. Today, China is striving hard to revamp its manufacturing industry. The country's 12 th Five Year Plan (2011-2015) sets out the objective of reducing dependency on foreign technology and to assume global technology leadership, particularly in high-end equipment manufacturing and next-generation ICT.

Industrie 4.0 – The Adoption in Southeast Asia In Singapore, I see a high emphasis on promoting high value-add manufacturing, innovations and new technologies, including: pervasive microfluidics, printed electronics and nano-manufacturing of multi-functional products. These are some of the sub verticals that are expected to witness high degree of further automation. Sustainable manufacturing, including: pharmaceutical and chemical production and development of methodologies and tools for assessment of sustainability in manufacturing are some of the areas that will employ superior ICTbased tools for resource optimisation.

Singapore and Malaysia are technologically advanced and lead the world in many niche segments. A major strength of these countries is the integration of micro technologies into products, with photonics being a prime example. I believe their progress is partly driven by large government subsidies and substantial investments, particularly in their university systems.

While it is true that Vietnam, Indonesia

and Thailand are low cost labour abundant countries, it is high time they cut their umbilical cord with the old model of development – cheap labour and low innovation. I’m quite optimistic about their transition as the respective governments have the necessary policies in place for high value manufacturing. Furthermore, the concern on growing competition from other ASEAN countries motivates these economies to move into new-age manufacturing. Business-friendly climate, diverse sources of investments, coupled with a large supply chain, backed up by a geographical advantage and supported by a network of incentives, are some of the factors that will enable these countries to emerge as valuable players on the global manufacturing stage.

Industrie 4.0 – Challenges & Opportunities From a vendor standpoint - these challenges could be opportunities to niche companies. I firmly believe Industrie 4.0 is not just a mere new industrial paradigm with regards to technology. Industrie 4.0 will alter the competitive landscape dramatically.

The manufacturing sector will soon witness a flock of unheard names offering comprehensive end-to-end ICT solutions.

Joint ventures, collaborations, partnerships and Ecosystem would be the market go-to strategies for companies in order to remain competitive.

From an End User (not be confused with final human consumers) standpoint - One of the biggest roadblocks that I see is the passive mind set of the industrial community. Most enterprises show reluctance to change or experiment. This may prove to be detrimental in the long run.

Apart from this, challenges surrounding awareness and skill gaps are areas that need immediate attention.

Looking ahead, the potential financial returns from Industrie 4.0 are arguably the biggest incentive for businesses to move ahead. Industrie 4.0 will have a midas touch in every aspect of technology, or business.

Manufacturers must be able to accept and embrace Industrie 4.0 to succeed in the future. If not, then it is quite certain that they will be left behind.

Savings Through Spindle Up Time The need to improve machine efficiency is more important today, than at any time in history.

U

.S. manufacturers have invested billions of dollars in new equipment during the past two decades to grow their manufacturing base, only to miss two key areas: people and processes.

To counteract an aging workforce – the average age of manufacturing workers in the United States is 45.6 years for machinist and 51 years for tool and dies makers (Bureau of Labor Statistics) – companies need to invest in people and processes.

For example, many shops invest in new machines to initiate change, but spending

Placing an $800 vise with 1920s technology on a new machine to make one part at a time while spending 30 to 60 minutes changing over the workholding, is not a being productive. That would be like buying an HDTV without investing in HD channels.

It takes more than a new machine to increase productivity. Increased productivity is about increasing spindle up time. Machines do not make any money if they are not making chips, and there are numerous ways to increase spindle up time.

A few of these solutions include setup time reduction, greater flexibility, increased table capacity, and improved part quality.

A quick change pallet system is one

of the easiest ways to increase spindle up time. The most advanced systems locate and clamp the pallet in the same step. The quick change concept is a means for the machinist to change out a fixture, workpiece, or other workholding device in a matter of minutes with up to 5µ (0.0002") repeatability.

Traditionally, shops across the country seem to consider it acceptable to spend anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours, or even longer, to change over a machine one or two times a day. This equates to one to four hours of loss productivity per day. At $60/ hr machine rate, only one hour a day equates to more than $15,600 per year lost per machine.

Another benefit of a highly accurate quick change pallet system is being able to interrupt a job. Parts can be removed from the machine while still in the fixture and inspected. If additional work is required, the fixture can be returned to the machine within 5µ from where it was removed and remachined, without the painful loss of time relocating the part.

In addition to the quick changeover, a quick change pallet system makes it easier for off-line accurately setup. Off-line setup also allows robotic pallet systems to load and unload machines.

Facilities that standardize with a quick change pallet system increase flexibility. The ability to change over a machine, quickly and accurately, enables a shop to interrupt

Special Report jobs on a machine for a more urgent project, creating a lesser impact to the cost and delivery of the interrupted job. It also allows production parts to run in smaller batch sizes. In addition to interrupting a job, the flexibility to be able to move a job from one machine to another provides additional value. If a machine goes down for service or is committed to another job, a standard quick change system enables moving the part to another machine in minutes.

By reducing the number of setups, the risk of set up errors decreases, resulting in improved part quality. An additional time saver in magnetics is the use of self-shimming poles.

This option allows for parts to be held in their natural state without inducing stress and pulling a workpiece to the table. This feature eliminates costly time spent shimming, significantly improving workpiece flatness.

The entire increased spindle up time and workpiece access is irrelevant if the part quality is sacrificed. When choosing workholding for increased productivity, the choice of quality is essential. The true difference between top quality solutions and inexpensive solutions may be nothing more than an additional two to three months payback; however, the cost of less than quality parts, lost time, high scrap costs, and lost reputation is detrimental to the company.

To purchase anything less than quality actually costs more.

U.S. manufacturing does not have to be headed for a crisis, but it will take investment in both the right people and the proper technology. Therefore, manufacturers need to invest in the tools that will allow for the maximum number of parts to be produced as quickly and flexibly as possible, and with the best quality. This will not only allow for U.S. manufacturing to survive but to lead the world again.

Kenturn focuses on spindle development

Highly respected by machine tool manufacturers in the market, Kenturn focuses on the development of directdrive spindles and belt spindles. Reinforced quality and extended production line Kenturn said that in order to manage and have full control of production, they must cooperate intently with all outsourcing lines and extend in-house production lines. Now, the company has built a new plant near the old one which covers an area of 50,000 square meters.

"We expect the new plant to provide us with more than 100% upgraded capacity at a proposed rate of 3,000 spindles per month," Kenturn representative said.

Employee development After the United States called for manufacturing to return to America, order requests for Kenturn from the U.S. soared. In 2014, the company had to operate 24 hours a day in order to keep up with the high demand from the U.S. The manufacturing lead time is thus far beyond expectations. As a result, Kenturn has recruited people from different backgrounds regardless of their past work experience in order to increase its productivity. While doing so the company

It takes about 3 years to train a qualified "Kenturnee", and it begins with frame reading and milling training, the very fundamentals for onsite operators. Last year, there were about 120 employees, with an average age of 35 years old.

Aside from its internal training program, Kenturn also works with the government- funded research institute in Taiwan, the Precision Machinery Research Development Center (PMC), to improve employee quality. The education is highly regarded as this is a highly focused and plant-specific

subject. Kenturn greatly appreciates PMC's contribution. At the moment, even operators from the department of Liberal Arts are professionals like the others.

Kenturn future projects Though located far from the source of raw materials for their products and with transportation as an issue, Kenturn has taken huge steps towards developing up and downstream chain inside the factory. FEMCO launches integrated project service for users

As a machine tool manufacturer with a profound history in Taiwan, FEMCO has evolvedfrom its inception until now.

While the needs of Chinese machine tool users are not as developed as their European counterparts, Mr. Liao shared thatthe decision to provide immediate and accessible support to the Chinese machining industry is strategical and will prepare Quaser’s expansion route in the Chinese market. At present about 11% of exports are delivered to this market.

The MRT Songshan Line – Fun West/East Joy Rides The MRT Songshan Line is now open for business. Stretching 8.5km, it has 8 stations. Three are transfer stations – Zhongshan, Songjiang Nanjing, and Nanjing Fuxing – connecting to the Tamsui-Xinyi, Zhonghe-Xinlu, and Wenhu lines. A trip between Ximen and Songshan stations takes about 15 minutes, meaning rapid west/east travel through a world of great shopping, eating, performances, station architecture/ public art, and heritage sites. Here’s a special introductory themed trip for you, taking in Beimen, Taipei Arena, Nanjing Sanmin, and Songshan stations plus choice surrounding spots for dining, drinking, entertainment, and shopping. Songshan Line “joy rides” are a great way to enjoy Taipei during the TIMTOS show.

Beimen Station Historical Site – Commercial District Ramble Entering MRT Beimen Station, you're met with many examples of its “Read the Memory of Taipei” historical theme. The gate's history is introduced on the walls, and there are railwayrelated relics from the Machinery Bureau established by Qing Dynasty-era Taiwan Governor Liu Ming-chuan. Twelve archeological pits dot the floor, showing artifacts which were uncovered during construction, including alcohol bottles and porcelain bowls. There's also a four-portal yamen structure, a Qing-dynasty red-brick aqueduct section, the Machinery Bureau's east wall, etc., making this an eye-catching museum inside the station. Nearby are the North Gate (also called Cheng'en Gate), Taipei Post Office, Futai Street Mansion, and other heritage attractions, and the Chongqing S. Rd. “Book Street,” Beimen Photographic Supply District, and Huayin St. Commercial District, brimming with books, camera, affordable leather goods, accessories, and much else. You can also visit shops along Yanping N. Rd., selling DIY-accessories materials, and savor old-time Taipei tastes at the venerable Jinchunfa Beef Restaurant on Tianshui Rd.

Taipei Arena Station

Recreation & Entertainment In the escalator corridor at MRT Taipei Arena Station, enjoy the public artwork “Startup Password.” The work's theme is the sporting history and geo-cultural character of the Taipei Arena area. Using the Moire effect, a mechanical installation takes a flat silhouette cut-out image and creates lifelike motion. The station's Exit 2 is a 1/4 mockup of the adjacent arena, with the same arc shape and white paint with transparent backboard used. In contrast, stylish Exit 4 is a cross-section rendering of the arena, with transparent backboard, concrete walls, and 30 panes of 3D glass used. Close to the station is leafy Dunhua N. Rd. as well as public artworks, and inside Taipei Arena you can enjoy ice-skating, concerts by famous stars, sports competitions, and other activities. There's also upscale shopping at the Breeze Center Nanjing department store and clothing boutiques, great restaurants, and cultural-arts performances at Taipei Metropolitan Hall.

Nanjing Sanmin Station Shopping for Gifts, Enjoying Gourmet Cuisine At MRT Nanjing Sanmin Station, you'll see brick walls on all sides featuring ceramic panels and kiln glass. The designer has used local community archways and city gateways as creative inspiration, giving the interior an artistic ambience. Around the station are famed brand businesses offering fine dining and premium souvenir shopping: Chia Te Bakery, Snowflake Bakery, Chien Hsiang (meat products), Chun Shui Tang Cultural Tea House, Wang Steak, Lienyi Steakhouse First Restaurant, etc. For filling snack treats, in the lanes off Sec. 5, Nanjing E. Rd. you'll find Chen Family Cold Noodles, Da Lao Er Gourmet Shop, and other restaurants.

Afterwards, walk about 15 minutes for shopping at CPCity Living Mall or watch puppet theater at the Puppetry Art Center of Taipei. You can also transfer to a No. 604 bus at the MRT station and get off at the Sanmin Road stop by Minsheng Community, to ramble Fujin, Xinzhong, and other tree-shaded streets, exploring eclectic shops stocked with personal items.

Appearing like a white cloud when unlit, it bedazzles when lit up each day on the hour and in accord with the 24 Chinese solar terms, mimicking the coruscating waves and ripples of the nearby Keelung River in a fantasy scene. The railway station's first and second floors have many eateries and shops satisfying travelers' food and shopping desires, and nearby are Wufenpu Commercial District, focused on affordable quality fashion attire and accessories, and Raohe Street Tourist Night Market, famed for medicinal pork ribs soup, sesame-oil chicken soup, and international snack treats. You can also rent a YouBike and happily ride along Keelung River or sit quietly atop the dike to soak in the pretty Rainbow Bridge and riverside park nightscape.

第25屆台北國際工具機展覽會

捷運松山線 由西至東一路玩到

臺 北 走 走 看

2014年底通車的捷運松山線，總長 8.5 公里，共 8 站，於中山、松江南京、南京復興站，分別與淡水信義線、中和新蘆線、文湖線交會轉乘。 尤其是從西門站至松山站，約 15 分鐘，可快速由西到東盡情享受購物、大啖美食、看表演、欣賞站體公共藝術與古蹟等樂趣。今天為大家介紹 北門站、台北小巨蛋、南京三民站、松山站等，與鄰近吃喝買玩的好去處，讓你在參觀TIMTOS之於，搭捷運由西至東一路玩到 High。

北 門 站

史蹟、商圈漫遊 搭乘捷運來到北門站，一走進站內即可看到以「傳奇 - 翻閱城市的記憶」為主 題的展示，像是牆面上介紹北門的歷史，還有將站內清朝臺灣巡撫劉銘傳建 設的機械局遺址，在地面上設計 12 個遺構展示坑，展示施工時挖掘出來的器 物，包括酒瓶、瓷碗等近代遺物，還有四進衙門結構、清代紅磚水道、機器局 東牆等，將北門站打造得宛如小型博物館，十分吸睛。出站後，可欣賞周圍的 北門（承恩門）、臺北郵局、撫臺街洋樓等古蹟，也可至重慶南路書街、北門 相機商圈、華陰街商圈等購買書籍、相機、平價皮件、飾品等；此外，可以 逛逛延平北路周邊的飾品 DIY 材料行，或是到天水路百年老店「金春發牛肉 店」，品嘗臺北老味道。

台 北 小 巨 蛋 站

休閒娛樂 搭乘捷運來到台北小巨蛋站，可在電扶梯長廊欣賞到公共藝術作品「啟動密 碼」，以台北小巨蛋周邊運動歷史的地域文化特質為題材，透過摩爾動畫原 理，用機械裝置將平面剪影圖像，還原成栩栩如生的動態影像。此外，2 號出 入口，為呼應一旁的台北小巨蛋，特別以四分之一仿小巨蛋建築，採白色塗裝 與透明背板，白色圓弧造型呈現；4 號出入口則以小巨蛋的剖面造型，以透明 背板、白色混凝土牆，30 塊 3D 弧形玻璃板呈現，時尚感十足。周邊除綠意 盎然的敦化北路及公共藝術，還有台北小巨蛋可體驗溜冰、欣賞知名藝人演唱 會、體育競賽等活動。此外，可順遊至附近的微風南京店、精品服飾店等購 物、品嘗美食及到城市舞臺欣賞藝文表演。

南 京 三 民 站

伴手禮 美食特蒐 搭乘捷運來到南京三民站，可於站內欣賞到以陶板、窯燒玻璃等創作出的四面磚 牆，設計者以社區門戶及都市玄關為創作主題，營造出站內濃濃藝文氣息。走出 站外，可至周圍知名店家品嘗美食，或購買伴手禮。如佳德糕餅、雪花齋、千翔 食品、春水堂人文茶館、王品牛排、聯一台塑牛排創始店等；想體驗小吃滋味， 還可至南京東路 5 段巷弄間的陳家涼麵、大老二美食店等大啖美食。飽餐後，可 步行約 15 分鐘至周圍京華城購物，或至臺北偶戲館欣賞戲偶展覽，也可在南京 三民路口站轉搭 604 公車於三民路站下車即可抵達民生社區，一邊悠遊在富錦 街、新中街等綠意盎然的巷弄，一邊探索個性生活用品店家。

松 山 站

逛街購物品小吃 搭乘捷運來到松山站，可在內部通往臺鐵松山車站的穿堂大廳，欣賞到〈河流彎 曲之處，域見繁花光穹〉公共藝術，以 5 萬多顆 LED 燈與水晶玻璃打造的大型 光雕，高低垂直錯落，猶如松山河灣意境，未亮燈時宛如一朵白雲，每日整點與 二十四節氣當日燈光亮起時，繽紛的色彩光影變化，好似基隆河面閃閃的波光， 十分夢幻迷人。此外，臺鐵松山車站 1 至 2 樓有各式美味餐廳、伴手禮店、日用 品店，供遊客品美食、購物。走出站外，可順遊到周邊的五分埔商圈，購買價格 實惠的流行服飾，傍晚可到附近的饒河街觀光夜市，品嘗藥燉排骨、麻油雞、異 國小吃外，也可以租借 YouBike微笑單車，乘著晚風在河濱悠游，或靜靜坐在河 邊欣賞彩虹橋及基隆河畔的美麗夜色。 資料提供者：臺北市政府觀光傳播局
