XIV. Awards

▪ Grade 6 student-athletes will not be allowed to move up to a Grade 7 & 8 team. At the discretion of the athletic director, Grade 6 student-athletes and teams will at times compete alongside grade 7 and 8 teams (i.e. track and field, swimming). ▪ The Grade 7 & 8 Blue teams will compete weekly, while all other teams will compete less often. ▪ Proper implementation of Upper School sport philosophies and strategy will occur. ▪ See the below MS team naming convention, with team names listed by skill level from highest (Blue) to lowest (White). If sign-up numbers necessitate more than four teams at either the Grade 6 or the Grade 7 & 8 level, additional team names will be differentiated using numbers (e.g. White 1 and White 2 teams).
