PRE FACE

Greeting, My name is Taipat Treebumroong. I'm an architecture student Bachelor's degree 5 years international program graduated from School of Architecture and Design(SoA+D), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi BKK, Thailand. Driven by a curious, analytical, and thoughtful nature, I believe that architecture holds the power to shape human living, vision, and behavior. This conviction has inspired my journey into the field of architecture, where I seek to create designs that profoundly impact how people interact with their environments.

As an architect driven by a deep passion for exploring the intersection between abstract architectural ideas and their tangible impact on the built environment. I firmly believe that great architectural design is far more than just the creation of physical spaces—it is a powerful tool that profoundly influences how people live, think, and connect. Architecture has the unique ability to shape human behavior, evoke emotions, and create sensory experiences that can transform the way we perceive and interact with the world around us. I am fascinated by how thoughtfully designed spaces can inspire a sense of belonging, comfort, and well-being, while also serving as catalysts for positive social interaction and community building.

My commitment to architecture extends beyond individual buildings; I see it as an integral force in shaping the identity of cities and societies. The way we design our urban environments not only reflects our current values but also influences the future trajectory of our communities. I am dedicated to creating architecture that not only responds to the practical needs of its users but also elevates their daily experiences, leaving a lasting impact on the places they inhabit. For me, the true power of architecture lies in its ability to create spaces that enrich lives, foster meaningful connections, and contribute to the collective spirit of a vibrant and thriving society.

Sincerely Taipat Treebumroong.

Community Cultural and Contemporary Art Center

The Centric | Rama 8, Bang phlat

The mixed-use building consists of many kind of using space for every gender and life style. There are three main communities that located there. In the past this area used to be a area that full of communities, but they were replace as a bridge to expanding a road transportation from Thonburi to Phra Nakorn.

Partner : Kulpreeya Pakul Puntakarn Naowapol

As This site are in between the three communities, we wanted to create a centre area which gathering the user from the three side to the centre area creating a Centracity landmark. As the concept is "Centralized" The centre spot needed to be extraordinary and the Iconic spot.

This is the smallest community. houses is still compact and dense. However,The road is straight line, it easier to walk than Ban Poon.

Ban Poon Community

The biggest one of the 3 communities around the site. It also contains a lot of history compared to the others. However, people rarely going in the there. The house are compact with complex road grid. The walls of each house are pretty high.

Housing same as wat dao community. the signature of this community is there a canal cut right in the middle of the community.

Conceptual Ideas

our intention was to create a gathering spot and an extraordinary space for every community to be able to connect to each other. We came up with the "Centralized" as a Keyword-based for the ideas.

Creating a centre spot at the middle of the 3 main communities, Then projecting a angle line toward the centre spot creating a variety angle from the centre point.

FUCNTIONAL CONCEPT

The spaces was divided into three section

Outdoor spaces

Three out door spaces that can connecting with the indoor spaces at the curved Entrance area between three wings, two side entrance and One Water front entrance.

Indoor large opened space

After entering the building from and of the entrance the user will be taken to the large opened space area up to the third floor ceiling.

Selected only the equilibrium angle of line in each side creating a three wings for the building form. The red line show the selected one.

Facility wing

A facility area located at each wing of building to provide a large open space in the middle of building.

Riverfront park

The recreation space for both local users and visitor. it located neareby Rama 8 bridge and main entrance for easily acess by almost users from other places to the site.

Future School 2050 | Parametric & Biomimicry 02

The SEA STAR | Bang Khun Thian, Bangkok

Conceptual Ideas | Issue & Prediction

Population in Thailand are 69.9 million in 2019 and still increasing continuously, So more population means more of the space and need they take up. But spaces and resources are limited.

our predictions about issue in 2 5 are, first the overpopulation issue. As population tend to increase overtime, so in 2 5 Bangkok might become overpopulated city

Lots of High rise residential building and mid rise building are establish due to the lack of spaces, love issues by vertical living.

Biomimicry & Logical

The concept is based on the regeneration process of starfish. s our prediction in 2050, the lack of space problem will occur in BKK, space management will be very important in 2050.

In our school we provide the modular system that can be form to attach and detach with each other, in order to create a flexible room

Sea Star Anatomy logical

Logical Diagram

Sea stars are famous for their ability to regenerate limbs, and entire bodies (rare). Sea stars has most of vital organs in their arms. This means that some species can even regenerate an entirely new sea star from just one arm and a portion of central disc. it anatomy consists of center disk which located at the center of its. which this main organ system located inside is digestive system, if digestive system is completely destroyed, starfish will not be able to regenerate its body. We focusing on a “Regeneration” Abilities of ea tar, as most of their vital organs in their arms. This means that some species can even regenerate an entirely new sea star from just one arm and a portion of the star’s central disc. We taken this logics to applies on our building concept.

Most of the programs that located on the G floor are facilities and active learning program. we arrange the café and minimart at the north of the building, as it will prevent these rooms from direct sunlight.

There are 5 pathways that connected to the main building which gives the building alternative entrance. each arm consist of the module that used as a studio, lecture room and exhibition space

Ground Floor Plan

Main idea of the 2nd fl. is to be the connection between other building in the campus, as we provide 5 bridges that let people walk through our building and to transfer people to other building and shortcut in to building.

On the 3rd floor, we dedicate this floor to the people who are working in the building, which consists of teachers and administrator, so the program in 3rd floor are mostly office and conference room to accomodating staff.
