The Hat Project is located 30 km north of Telegraph Creek. The team originally acquired the claims in 1993, and Doubleview has owned them since 2017.
The company ran a drill program which included pad building.
Tentative plans and hopes for the 2023 season?
Doubleview hopes to accomplish a drill program, conclude archaeological work, and start a Traditional Land Use (TLU) study.
RELATIONSHIP WITH THE TCG & TAHLTAN NATION
During the 2022 season, what involvement did TCG personnel and departments have with your company? If they were not involved, why not?
The company contacted several Tahltan companies and entities who unanimously had no personnel to spare.
In 2022, how many Tahltans did you employ? What positions did they hold in your company?
Eight of our crew members were Tahltan, holding various positions, including skilled labourer, and drill helper.

Any successes or challenges you’d like to share? Finding local skilled labour and service availability was a challenge again.
Number of employees working on your project(s)?
For drill programs, there are 10 to 12 crew members, including geologists.
Where does the majority of your financing come from year to year? What’s the breakdown of who owns your company and what’s your company’s market cap?
Mostly from Canadian sources, and some from the USA. The Company is owned by shareholders, mostly Canadians, some American, and a few from other parts of the world. Currently, our market cap is about $90 million.
What employment opportunities, now and in the future, are available to Tahltan members?
Available employment opportunities include carpenter, pad builder, core cutter, driller, drill helper, and geotechnician.
Why should Tahltan members want to work for you?
The proximity to Telegraph Creek and Dease Lake. The Company strives to provide a friendly environment, working in small groups, striving for long-term working relationships. We provide training to whomever is interested.
Did you have any Tahltan contractors working for your company? What percentage of your contracting dollars went to Tahltan companies, including TNDC and their joint ventures?
Yes, we had Matrix Obsidian Camps Aviation, SCS Drilling, Bandstra Transportation, Northwest Fuels, and Super A in Dease Lake. 50% of our contracting dollars went to Tahltan companies.
Do you have any outside contractors working for you? If so, who are they? Who were the primary contractors you utilized? Do they offer employment opportunities to Tahltan members?
