Any successes or challenges you’d like to share?

KSM was awarded 30 major contracts totaling $170 million, of which $125 million was committed for Indigenous-affiliated businesses.

Number of employees working on your project(s)?

The KSM Project has 43 full time employees and 250 seasonal.

Where does the majority of your financing come from year to year? What’s the breakdown of who owns your company and what’s your company’s market cap?

Shareholders. Seabridge Gold holds 100% ownership of both KSM and SnipGold. Our market capitalization is $1.4 billion.

• Construction of the Glacier Creek Fish Habitat Offset Program.

• Commenced the first four km of the Coulter Creek access road.

• Commenced construction of the Treaty Creek and North Treaty Creek access road.

• Site preparation at Camp 9 (near Mitchell and McTagg confluence.)

• Construction of Camp 11 to support work on the Treaty Creek access road.

SnipGold:

• Dismantling the abandoned fuel tank farm.

• Removing hazardous materials from the mill building and sending them offsite to a licensed hazardous waste disposal facility.

• Iskut Exploration – drill program focused on identifying mineralized zones below the Bronson Slope deposit.

Tentative plans and hopes for the 2023 season?

KSM Project:

• Finalize the construction of the Glacier Fish Habitat offset program.

• Continue to work on the first four km of the Coulter Creek access road.

• Work with BC Hydro(year two) to advance the Treaty Creek Terminal and Switching station.

• Continue construction of the Treaty Creek and Northern Treaty Creek access road.

• Additional site preparation at Camp 9 (near Mitchell and McTagg confluence).

• Continue construction of Camp 11 to support work on the Treaty Creek access road.

SnipGold:

• Iskut Project Exploration: 2023 drill program planned to target an increase in Bronson-gold-copper resource and finding intrusive source of the breccia pipe.

RELATIONSHIP WITH THE TCG & TAHLTAN NATION

During the 2022 season, what involvement did TCG personnel and departments have with your company? If they were not involved, why not?

We were involved with the Tahltan Central Government (TCG) Lands Department, Leadership, and the Employment & Business Department.

In 2022, how many Tahltans did you employ? What positions did they hold in your company?

We employed 50 Tahltans. Positions included labourer, equipment operators, and manager.

What employment opportunities, now and in the future, are available to Tahltan members?

KSM Project: Once the project is in operations-mine life of 50+ years, there will be 1,500 direct jobs.

Yes, the Tahltan Nation Development Corporation. Do you have any outside contractors working for you? If so, who are they? Who were the primary contractors you utilized? Do they offer employment opportunities to Tahltan members?
