COMPANY OVERVIEW & UPDATE
Any successes or challenges you’d like to share?
We experienced challenges shared across the industry in securing, in some cases, supplies and personnel to conduct the necessary exploration.
Number of employees working on your project(s)?
During the drilling program there were up to 20 people in camp. Sassy contracts out to service providers and consultants to conduct the exploration program.
During the 2022 season, what involvement did TCG personnel and departments have with your company? If they were not involved, why not?
Through the Tahltan Central Government (TCG) we reached out to secure temporary help with the program. This was challenging as there was a shortage of personnel.
In 2022, how many Tahltans did you employ? What positions did they hold in your company and what percentage of Tahltans did you employ compared to others?
We employed two Tahltans. Both assisted with handling of drill core and day-to-day camp maintenance. They held 10% of positions.
What employment opportunities, now and in the future, are available to Tahltan members?
We will continue to encourage Tahltan members to seek employment with Sassy as geotechnicians, pad builders, field assistants, cooks, and cook’s helper.
Why should Tahltan members want to work for you?
Our company is young, dynamic, creates a safe, respectful, and challenging working environment. The company relies on current exploration techniques and provides an excellent opportunity to learn about mineral exploration.

Did you have any Tahltan contractors working for your company? What percentage of your contracting dollars went to Tahltan companies, including TNDC and their joint ventures?
Yes, 40% of contracting dollars went to Tahltan companies.
Do you have any outside contractors working for you? If so, who are they? Who were the primary contractors you utilized? Do they offer employment opportunities to Tahltan members?
CJL Enterprises (Box 662 Smithers, BC, VOJ 2N0), expediter Well Done Cook Agency (Box 4583 Smithers, BC, V0J 2N0), HA Butler Contracting Ltd (3920 Whalen Road, Smithers, BC, V0J 2N0).
