The Lawyers Gold Silver Project is in the Toodoggone Region of Northern BC. Benchmark Metals Acquired 100% interest in the Lawyers Gold-Silver Project in September of 2019.

2022 Benchmark activities included:
Completion of year one of an aquatic and terrestrial baseline sampling program;
• Undertaking exploration drilling program
• Geotechnical drilling and test pit investigation;
• Year one of a Preliminary Field Reconnaissance (Archaeology) program;
• Road reactivation and construction;
• Completion of a preliminary economic assessment;
• Progressive reclamation of exploration sites no longer required; and
• Camp winterization.

None. Benchmark relies entirely on contractors to complete its exploration work.
Where does the majority of your financing come from year to year? What’s the breakdown of who owns your company and what’s your company’s market cap?
Benchmark Metals is publicly traded and owned as TSX-V: BNCH. The majority of financing comes from US and Canadian equity funds. Benchmark ownership is generally dispersed among the following:
• 50% Precious Metal funds,
• 10% management insiders and close associates, and
• 40% retail equity owners.
Our market cap is $96.23 million.
Tentative plans and hopes for the 2023 season?
In 2023 Benchmark hopes to undertake the following activities:
• Exploration drilling up to 30,000m and up to 15 drill targets;
• Complete year two of the aquatic and terrestrial baseline program;
• Advance collaborative engineering and technical studies;
• Continue progressive reclamation, effectiveness monitoring and seed and stem collection program with community participation;
• Complete year two of the archaeology preliminary field reconnaissance with community participation;
• Finalize Tahltan Opportunity Sharing Agreement; and
• Undertake community engagement with Tahltan Nation.
RELATIONSHIP WITH THE TCG & TAHLTAN NATION
During the 2022 season, what involvement did TCG personnel and departments have with your company? If they were not involved, why not?
In 2022 Benchmark worked with the Tahltan Central Government (TCG) Lands Department and Northern Labour Services to engage Tahltan Nation members in year one of the Lawyers Archaeology Preliminary Field Reconnaissance program.
In 2022, how many Tahltans did you employ? What positions did they hold in your company and what percentage of Tahltans did you employ compared to others?
Benchmark has no direct employees; however, core boxes were supplied in 2022 by Tuya Woodcraft, Bandstra Trucking provided expediting services, and Kazuna Consulting provided Archaeology support services.

Although Benchmark does not have direct employees, contracting opportunities are available. Please see comments related to contracting opportunities.

Total spending on contracted services was approximately $49,100.
Do you have any outside contractors working for you? If so, who are they? Who were the primary contractors you utilized? Do they offer employment opportunities to Tahltan members?
Yes, a significant amount of Benchmark’s primary contracting services is provided by the Tsay Keh Nay (TKN) First Nation businesses and communities (Kwadacha, Takla and Tsay Keh) and APEX Geosciences Ltd. Benchmark strongly encourages primary contractors to employ Tahltan members and members from TKN communities.
