A WORLD OF HEALTHIER EATING HealthySchoolMeals & Food Education for All Children

Your support for TABLE FOR TWO USA in 2023 has truly made a significant difference in the lives of children worldwide. Thanks to your generosity, we've been able to provide nutritious school meals and valuable food education opportunities, bringing smiles to countless children's faces.
In 2023, we finally reached our goal of having Onigiri Action posts from all 50 states and Washington, D.C.! We were delighted to see the support spread all over the U.S. We have continued to provide the Wa-Sho program and reached 4,655 participants through 225 classes and an on-demand course. I love leading Wa-Sho classes and seeing students with sparkling eyes and enthusiasm for learning about food, nutrition, and the pleasure of eating!
We are encouraged to be allied with a national movement, the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health, whose purpose is to support the goal of ending hunger and increasing healthy eating and physical activity by 2030 so that fewer Americans experience diet-related issues. We will continue to work on resolving these issues by collaborating with many like-minded organizations and individuals such as yourself. In the coming year, we aim to initiate a new program that will extend our outreach to untapped areas.
I deeply value your support. Together, we continue to work towards addressing critical health issues and building a healthier world.
Sincerely,
Mayumi Uejima-Carr1 in 4 suffer from obesity and In our world of 7 billion, while 1 10 people go hungry,

“I like school and never miss it because I benefit from the meal we receive there. It helps me succeed in class and continue with my studies. My dream is to become a teacher. I was happy to see TFT visitors, and learnt they are the ones who help deliver the delicious meal to us. I thank them very much for that.”
“I just wanted to say thank you so much for teaching this class! It is my daugher’s favorite special of the week - she really wakes up every Thursday excited for Japanese cooking. She also always brings a little home to share with her family, which I especially love because Japanese cuisine is one of my favorites. It really has brought a lot of joy to our household. Thank you!“
“My daughter came home and wouldn't stop talking about the class. She absolutely loved it and was so proud of herself for making miso soup.”
“I think it is a great course and having variety kept it interesting for me. Not every section was about watching a video. Some had pictures there was one that was hands on. All around great course that is engaging. Was never boring. .”
