REGULATIONS FOR AND CONDITIONS OF SALE 1. All animals entered must be put up for auction, and sold in the order in which they appear in the Catalogue. Animals to be catalogued in order of age, the oldest animals to be placed first. Animals not presented in the sale ring in Catalogue order will not be admitted to the sale ring until the end of the section of the sale for which they are entered. 2. The pedigree, history and description of each animal shall be guaranteed and warranted to be correct in all particulars by the person whose name appears as Vendor, but every animal shall be sold subject to faults. No liability whatever is undertaken by the Auctioneers for the statements appearing in the Catalogue. The Vendors who supply such statements are alone responsible for any error or mis-statement. 3. Vendors must provide competent persons to take charge of their stock up till the close of the sale, whether sold or unsold. 4. The animals will be sold in guineas. Commission of five pence for each guinea whill be charged on all sales, either public or private. 5. Should any animal pass out to the sale ring unsold and subsequently sold privately the Purchaser shall pay the commission on such private sales. 6. Animals will be offered subject to a reserve price. 7. No money shall be paid to the Vendor of any lot sold, unless the lot be cleared by Purchaser, and the Auctioneers will not be answerable for any deficiency that may arise on the re-sale of any unclaimed property, but will give the Vendor all reasonable assistance to have the contract enforced. 8. The Purchasers to give in their names and addresses in writing and pay the full purchase money for each lot at the fall of the hammer (if required), in default of which the lot, or lots, so purchased may be put up again immediately and re-sold. 9. No lot, or lots shall be removed from the premises till paid for, but each and every lot shall immediately at the fall of the hammer, be considered as delivered, and be, and remain in every respect at the absolute risk of the respective Purchaser or Purchasers thereof and shall be removed from the place of sale at the Purchaser’s expense. 10. No undertaking of the Auctioneers, or their servants, to take charge of the lots or animals after the sale, or to forward them to their destination, shall be held to impose upon the Auctioneers any legal obligation, or vitiate any of the forgoing Regulations for and Conditions of Sale. 11. Should any question arise, not provided for in the foregoing Rules, Regulations or Conditions, the decisions of the Auctioneers shall be final, from which there shall be no appeal. 12. Terms: Cash or Banker’s reference for Cheques.
