Long sleeves looks better with a tie rather and slacks (office) /jeans (for some developers) than short sleeves. It makes you look professional in some sense. Short sleeves are usually for those informal, casual getaways with friends and they usually look good if paired with shorts and some loafers and a hand of beer (optional). There really is no such thing as a short sleeve dress shirt. A dress shirt for a suit always has long sleeves. I know there are shirts made with short sleeves that have collars made for neckties, but in reality and practicality a dress shirt that goes with a suit and tie is always long sleeves. This point about how to roll up your sleeves in different ways is simply You Tubers trying to come up with new topics for videos, that’s about it. Roll them up anyway you want. There isn’t any fashion, wrong or right way to do it.
