They make me think of my 7th grade science teacher and let me assure you… that is not a good look. They also remind me of men who work at characterless offices who do nothing but paperwork all day long. I wish I had more concrete reasons as to why short sleeve button ups are unacceptable, but truly they are not in style. Please just purchase long sleeves and roll them up, it will help you immensely. I am always confounded when I see a man on the Nitro Circus logo shirt and I love this street in 90° heat wearing a long sleeve shirt. There are often large sweat stains under his arms and he looks miserable, especially if he is also wearing a neck tie. I just think, “there but for the grace
of god (or whatever) go I”. There are a lot of different ways that you can style a short sleeve shirt. You can pair it with jeans, shorts, a skirt, or even dress it up with a blazer or a cardigan. It really depends on your personal style and the look that you are going for.
